Hard to argue with any of them but I have one to consider for Luggy.
Scott McCulloch
Roughly
We paid 400k for Owen Coyle, We swapped Owen Coyle and 80k for Jamie Dolan, we then swapped Jamie Dolan and 300k for Mculloch.

Don't ever f***ing mention Jamie Dolan again or the mod will ram your white stick up your cyber pass
Edit to say. Not so private joke/dig at the mod mr Blunket. Just to let you in on it, Jamie Dolan was a player he rated very highly and even likened him to Dunga who played for Brazil! (wink)

Craig Levein- Best..... Fuck knows signed some crackers. Worst Shala
Houstie- best GMS, worst Mihadjuks
Jackie mac- best Andy, worst probably Kudus.

I'd agree with most of the TEK's picks apart from...
Wee Jim's best was surely Eamonn Bannon: a Scottish record fee worth every penny.
Alex Smith's worst was Kevin McGowne, shocking and cost us a fortune.
I know it's not a popular thing to say but Steven Pressley was Kirkwood's best signing. Under wee Tommy he was outstanding.
Levein's best possibly Gomis.

Changing Wee Jim's best signing to Paul Hegarty (how the feck did i forget about him in the first place ?)
Signed as a young up-and-coming striker fae Hamilton Accies and moulded into the captain of Dundee Utd+Scotland at CENTRE HALF.
That is what ye call an inspired signing.

Must dispute your claim Tommy McLean didnae have too many bad signings and Brewster had 'too many'.For me it's the other way about tbh.
Tommy signed some corkers in his first 6 months no doubt (Sieb,Lars,Erik,Kjell) but his signings thereafter were dreadful (Stewart McKimmie,David Sinclair,Jonas Wirmola,Mikael Anderson,Goran Marklund,Jean Jacque Misse Misse,Magnus Skoldmark,Emanuel Omoyimni,Marc McNally,Ian Jenkins,Julian Alsford ffs...brutal brutal signings). As good as we were for the best part of a year under him we very quickly nosedived and his signings got progressively worse as time went on.
Brewster signed (Conway,Hunt,Kalvenes,Wilkie, also tried to get Dods before Levein did).Bad signings fae him ?Proctor was awful. But i cannae mind too many other bad yins.Maybe i've phased them out my mind though lol.

So did i.And that surprised me tbh because his abilities bypassed me at Motherwell (i was only a teenager at the time),and when we swapped him for Coyley plus cash i though WTF is wee Tommy daein here then
His debut against Dunfermline away,i soon kent whit wee Tommy wis daein.Jamie was immense.Won every single tackle and was spraying the ball about on a plate for Kjell,Robbie,Andy,Sweggy.
Pity we never had the lad in his prime.A very intelligent player.

Tommy McLean signed Siggi Jonsson, not Luggy. Billy Dodds surely Luggys best signing. Brewster was a Golac signing in name only, basically wee Jim had it all agreed prior to Golac getting the job, much like Brian Graham had agreed to sign prior to Houston being punted.
