All went very quiet hasn't it?
His pursuit of them started a year ago almost.
At the start of June the press reported it was 'close to being finalised'.
I have a feeling it will never happen.

Was he there on Saturday? I saw Justine (who looks not bad in the flesh even if her face was tripping her when we walked past) but not Stephen.

I believe the deal has fallen through.

So all his Oz jollies on Utd's time and money was to no avail?
Still. At least it will have given him the chance to look out for his new house for when he moves there.

I still reckon he'll be in Oz before The Rangers come up to the Prem.
Infact i'd put money on it.

Get the feeling he is on the run. I initially thought that he'd had enough of the sevconian threats that we don't know the half of and the SFG but wonder now if it's a combination of that and running fae us after resurrecting family debts and contracts we don't like. He could escape us in OZ but only us. Zombies have infected most english speaking countries and there is plenty in OZ.
Makes me worried that he is done with us especially when there is a family fallout with his sister who seems to be keen on United. Hard not to jump to conclusions.

The actions of ST in the last year are deeply disappointing

I have to strongly disagree with this. They are not that good!

Tbh Arabnaphobia I don't know what you mean by "resurrecting family debts".
The directors loans have been a constant over the current decade (and presumably before).

I think what he means is that some of the money was spent on the club with no view to recoup it at any point in the future, ie the monies the Eddie spent on 'mistake' appointments. For a considerable time there were comments made that the Thomsons wouldn't be looking to get certain amounts of cash back. Now it appears that the Thomsons are wanting to get every single penny back out the club that they can.

That was exactly what I was thinking.
Season starts the morn so i'll no bother with the quotes I checked fae 2012 to present as it's not the time.

Not sure how this can be...this is no a bunch of mates who say...its ok mate I dont want that fiver you owe me back, then the next week say any chance of that fiver you owe me...
Utd are a Ltd company and every single penny has to be accounted for or the Directors can go to jail.
If money WAS owed to the Thomsons outside what is currently on the books, it has either been changed to shares or has been written off by the Thomsons...the money owed to the Thomsons are declared in the annual accounts...honestly the conspiracy theory obsession with some of our fans is frankly embarrasing at times...attack him where its due for example his lack of communication with the fans just now, lay off the tin foil hat stuff

There is no doubt in my mind that his trips down under saved Jackie and the boys from the sack which in turn could lead to us enduring our worst season in years. Those who said its just another business opportunity for our esteemed chairman failed to grasp he had completely taken his eye off the ball back in Dundee as we produced some of the worst football performances in years.

At least, as a man of principle, you won't have to endure watching anymore of jackie's failures this season as you're not going back.
Oh wait...
