Re: Who else are we trying to move on?

Spark looks an absolute unit these days as well.

Can't see Scott Smith being surplus, no way.

Spark, move on
Anier, move on
Szromnik, move on
Paton, move on if he can be used as a pawn
Dow,get your finger out and prove yourself son,or you have to go
Bilate, deserves a few months to turn it around. He just might do that.
Erskine,get fitter and more consistent.
Connelly,put out on loan.
Fraser, give him game time,he can be a diamond
Smith,same as Fraser.

Not really sure why you've given up on Spark, especially when you want to give Smith a chance?

Spark is only 18.

Its nothing personal. He's been in and around the first team for a couple of years now and imo, he probably should've pushed on more than he has. Anytime I've saw him for 20s , he's been average at best.

Anytime I've saw Smith, he's been a standout (for 20s )

Re: Who else are we trying to move on?

Apart from being two years older (and therefore breaking into the first team squad at the age Spark is at now), Smith was also absolutely rotten for Forfar.

I think it's unrealistic to expect Spark to have pushed on more than he has at this point. Guys like Russell, Dow and Goodie took around 3 years from their first team debuts to actually become worthwhile members of the squad remember.

If the manager or youth coaching staff  had any faith in his ability to make the step up, he would've been used when we were experiencing problems in the full back positions. He wasn't. Speaks volumes for me.

Sounds like a good deal for both club and player just now.

Re: Who else are we trying to move on?

Loan deal to jan on bbc gossip.

Would much rather he was out the door instead of a 6 month loan. Only good if they pay all his wages

Re: Who else are we trying to move on?

I feel for the lad actually. Don't get me wrong I don't think he's been good when playing but he came in January on a two and a half year deal, he probably had other offers, but he got only 12 games and is now being shown the door?

Says more about who signed him that the boy himself imo.

Best thing I've read in ages.

Re: Who else are we trying to move on?

Hibs apparently looking to take Aiden Connolly on loan with Alex Harris heading to us (again on loan)

You'd think we had enough midfielders - unless he's got pace - got to admit I don't know much about him

Re: Who else are we trying to move on?

Pace to burn, nothing else
Couldnae get a game for the Funsters last season

Re: Who else are we trying to move on?

Harris is pish...why do you think Hartley never chose to sign him? Simply not good enough for him.

I despair if that's true.

I despair anyway tbh.

They're welcome to each other!  If this frees up a wage then give it to Daly. He'll still do a better job for us than that fkn imposter!
