£350k is one of the more conservative estimates.

So do you think we should bench our £200k signing for him?

well they had a price in january that we fsiled to match bidding way less than we knew would be accepted so with thst in mind and other clubs showing an interest the price will have risen from then. maybe £450k they will want now?

would i spend £200k on him yes. but we wont.

would we be better investing that £200k on lther areas ? again a yes.

the main concern for me is... do we really have the intention of spending £200k on a player(s)?

Re: Scott Allan

this has never been happening... so he's going to Rangers... f uck Scott Allan quite frankly.  Why on earth United spent any time on this when they knew what it would take and wouldnt be willing to pay up I dont know.

For the record, I wouldnt think it a good move for us to fork out 350k on him.  Just dont know why we are f ucking about with it.  Just dont get it other than it being an empty gesture.  There are other players on the market surely FFS??? or did they all get snapped up already?

Think you're misunderstanding me.
We have already spent £200k on Telfer. Why the interest to spend even more money on a player in the same position? Have we gave up on Telfer? If so would you give more money to the same boy that wasted £200k?
We shouldn't as a club, really be paying transfer fees.
We need to be going for free transfers.

He's not what we need, wrong position for strengthening so quite happy it's dead, although I have my doubts it was ever alive.

Maybe a rare positive in the whole Fan, Management, Director/Chairmanship relationship fiasco.

I think dropping being positive, communicative and sharing might have manifested its self into a more tactful strategic style. Who's to take the credit there would probably be well split.
Personally I don't give a fuck as long as United benefit for the better and we get good fees for players and bring in gems.

All the pre season arguing and dispair will proven over the top I hope but I can see all of it from both sides.

Re: Scott Allan

Noticed, buried away in a piece on United in today's print edition of the Hun that Paton is being described as a target for Hibs.

Presume, if this is correct that United have tried to link this interest to ours in Allan

When I was in The Netherlands I was told that Paton would be signing for Hibs.

Re: Scott Allan

For what it's worth, I see Hibs have turned down a £175K offer from The Rangers.  King really getting his was chest out eh?

Re: Scott Allan

The whole Scott Allan thing is getting really boring tbh, and I actually really rate him as a player. He's the one that got away, it happens, move on.

Too much commotion

Yeah, no worries. They should just put up or shut up, as we should tbh.

It's was actually only £90k cash up front.

With another £85k potential add ons if they achieved a number of goals, including playing in Europe in 2017/18.

Re: Scott Allan

Scott Allan has informed Hibs he wants to go to Ibrox.

He obviously informed Rangers first judging by the derisory bids they've made.

Wee bastard has no loyalty whatsoever.

Ken what? We don't need boys like that in the club.

Hibs saved his career and now he's backing them into a corner.

It's no coincedence the bids are so low.

Zero loyalty shown.

Re: Scott Allan

I'm not so sure hibs saved his career mate. The boy is class and would've got a club.

As for loyalty, we all know there is fuck all loyalty shown in football.

Anyone of us would do the exact same thing to get a move to the club we love.

Imo, if it happened to be a Motherwell or a Hearts that he went to, nothing would be said. You're upset because it's Sevco mate.

Re: Scott Allan

I wondered if he'd already agreed to go to Sevco when I read the size of their bid.

He is badly advised if he thinks getting involved in that kind of caper will get him where he fancies.

£90 000 plus yer mental euro qualification pish wi Zombie FC. Ken it's ah paper talk but surely bog paper here.

Re: Scott Allan

Edinburgh press reporting that Allan has said fuck all that has been reported in West Coast filth media. Hibs have also knocked back another bid.

I reckon that he'll end up at Sevco but thon Petrie has previous for getting serious wedge for players. It'll be on Hibs terms

Yeah yeah Industrial Estate

Re: Scott Allan

Seen a few Hibs fans on Twitter saying Allan favourited a tweet from a Zombie telling him to hand in a transfer request.

He's been tapped up awright and the Huns will continue to make piss poor bids as they know Hibs won't want to keep an unhappy player on their books.
