....what would it realistically be, why and for how much?

Mine would be Billy McKay, but assuming Wigan paid £150K for him, no more than that ideally, but if an extra £25K got him so be it.

My reason is that with the players we have at our disposal, we need to drop the 2 holding mids idea, as we don't have the pace or players to pass our way up the park; and instead look to play more directly and with 2 up front.
