I do feel we are going to see players shipped out though to finance the wages for new boys in.

I thought McNamara had to say that.
I think he knew he needed players in, but until Ciftci was sold, he didn't have the money to do anything about it.
And he couldn't say he was waiting on transfer money. That plays right into Celtic's hands.
I think United have played all this extremely well.

Its funny how changes in perception changes people's opinions...12 months ago and 24 months and when Utd did exactly the same...denying we were after people etc...Everybody complained at the time but afterwards praised JM and Utd for keeping their cards close to their chest...doing the same this year it would appear and all of a sudden its "The penny finally dropped"

I'm not a Jackie fan but tbf to him and the club we usually conduct our business quietly.
Although in this age of social media etc fans are always demanding one thing or another.

Well saying that he was happy didnt half have alot of us going fucking bananas! We could see we needed to strengthen and it was a must that we added after what we lost but he didnt half wind us up with the 'im happy with the squad' pish !

he has said previously when looking to strenthen.
We never kept offering 2 key players new contract close tonthe chest either.

I'll admit to being much more happy this morning with the prospect of the two boys we are looking at bringing in.
Totally correct, we in the past couple of years have done things on the quite and this seems to be the same again, so far play to JMc and ST if that's the way they do things then fine by me as long as we are improving the squad. It's been a combination of a shite past few months on the pitch and selling season for what feels like forever off it that has driven most of us to dispair but hopefully this will settle us down and ready for a new season!
