Oban
Anybody going tomorrow to the Oban tournament?
It's normally a great day out.
Sadly,it looks like the weather ain't going to be great though (to put it mildly).

Had planned to go. Instead just been dragged round Tesco with the kids acting like spawns of the devil and I've now being informed we're going to Homebase. Fucking delighted as you can imagine.

1-1 v Accies, beat Oban Saints 1-0 with a team so young I only recognised 3 of them. Double free game so in the clubbie sheltering from the Oban drizzle. Hertz next.

Bit of a blur just now, but think we drew 1-1 with Hertz, had to beat Saints to win tournament and lost 1-0. Draw in last game hertz v Accies would give Oban Saints victory but Hearts 1st team won and lifted cup.
1st teams for Accies and Alloa as well.
Our teams, including last year's dev players were bairns.
Great to see so many new young players with so much talent.
Highlight was speaking to SC and thanking him for his TT Q&A.

Aaron Duke got a couple of headers, JJ scored a fine goal and has improved his decision making a lot since my first sight of him.

Aye, could be a very important player if he's getting his form back, boy could bang in the goals before. Hopefully see more of that as his fitness improves.

Indeed. Roll on the new season when Saturday's are back to being for fitba and nothing else!
