Two of my aunties used to sing that every Christmas/New Year party TEK.
My mums sisters, and her two brothers are good chanters too, my ma on the other hand, Jesus....
It's Eurythmics and Rod Stewart that remind me of my mum, used to be on blaring when she was doing her cleaning, I ken every word to most of their songs because of that.

That song reminds me of my auld gran, she loved it. Mums French so she listens to all sorts of foreign shit which I wouldn't subject anyone to tbh!

Would have preferred it if you'd woken up and thought, "must delete that avatar"
LOL
That feckin knitted thing being the centre of attraction just about sums up the state of things at our Club just now.
Anyway, back on topic. All mums must have been into Barbara Dickson, as my late mum was too, but my finest musical moment with her was taking her up to see Status Quo at the Aberdeen Capitol on their "End of the Road Tour" in 1984 somewhat bizarrely with my recent ex girlfriend at that time and her mother!!! That is completely bonkers and not very rock n roll when I look back at that now???

Took my old Mum and Dad to a Gala Evening at the Albert Hall back in the 90's, it's a sort of best of Classical and Opera the ones you all have heard before in adverts and the telly, not usually my thing but have to say it was a really good night.
When they sang this I looked at my old mum and there was tears streaming down her face she took my hand and said " son that's the most beautiful thing I've ever heard " still gets me every time I hear It
