Thread dedicated to the careers (Fitba or otherwise) of ex-Dundee United players.
Former Scottish Cup Winner Garry Kenneth tonight signs a 2 year deal with Carnoustie Panmure.
Now there's a career that declined fast upon leaving Tannadice.
Sad,really. He's still only 27.Could/should have 7/8 years left in him.

Think injuries have taken their toll.
Shame for the guy

ALthough I suppose he has got 2 Scotland caps and has won the Scottish Cup with the team he supports so although he never fulfilled his early promise he's at least got those achievements

That's what happens unfortunately when you don't look after your body.

My last post sounded a bit more condescending than it was meant to.
I wish the guy well and hope he can still have a modicum of happiness/success playing the game, even if it is at Junior level.

Didn't really think he was up too much tbh honest TEK. Was great in his debut but was a bit meh after that.
Unlucky with injuries though

It was his attitude i liked.
Looked after his body+fitness, and had a great rapport with the fans.
Was also a great lad in the dressing room for team spirit apparently.

I quite liked Aljofree tbh.
I mind he scored a cracking overhead kick against St.Johnstone.

Noel Hunt released early from his Leeds Utd contract.
Worth a punt ?Or finished ?

Would take hunty in a minute. Cant see it tho.

Don't think he scored a goal in his time with Leeds, maybe his time has gone.

I think Hunt is worth a punt! All done to what wages he thinks he is commanding though.

It is a shame with Kenneth. He did get some undue abuse, but I think a lot stemmed from folk knowing he could do better and has been said the need to look after yourself with the right attitude etc. There was probably other things going on with him at the time as well, so don't know but hope he gets back on track a bit. At his age he could still get a crack further up the leagues if he makes the most of it.

Hunty would be a smashing signing.

I heard that Kenneth's has a back problem which will likely prevent him from playing senior football again.

Arabest Badger.

Mixed reports as a person but a wonderful ability as a player. His nippy nature may prove to be an asset in management though. Good luck Badger
