Rumoured to be 1.3 million 'take it or leave it'.

I reckon that'll be that.

Spencey saying that the chairman has stated that Ciftci won't be allowed to leave unless a bid of £1.5m is recieved.

Celtic will offer £1.3m with an extra £250k if they win back to back Champions Leagues and Ciftci scores in both finals.

That should do it.

A mate of mine in the know at Tannadice says Ciftci has told United he is going to Celtic either now, January or next summer, it is just now down to whither United want to cash in now or lose him to them for nothing anyway.

It's obvious that's where he wants to go so hopefully it's done & dusted on Monday. £1.5m is way over what I expected him to go for & would be happy with anything over £1m tbh. He's not the type of player to put in the effort if he doesn't want to be there so waste of a wage IMO, be better just dealing with the inevitable & letting him go for a decent sum.

I'd take the 1.3m if that is what is being offered. nadir is not the type of boy who will give 100% if he's not wanting to be there. As has been seen in large spells last year when things weren't going his way. Minding he is likely to be banned for a number of weeks (unless he goes to the tic obviously😉)

Been on holiday for the last fortnight so have only read bits here and there but if its a choice between Wigan and Celtic its a no brainer.

Ciftci is a really good player but is a luxury we can't really afford now, when we had Gauld, Robbo, Stretch and GMS in the team it was okay if he took the huff as the others mentioned offered an attacking threat. Sadly we don't have many other threats now so if Ciftci had a strop we're fucked up top.

That's double what we got for Russell. So a sizeable chunk of the debt going has had a positive impact on the fees we can get.

your correct tek i mind the night after gms n armstrong left for celtic i heard john rankin on radio scotland saying it was a great move for both and saying our fans should remember how great they were for us

If we are going to sell him it simply must be done this week, for two very good reasons.

1.In just 11 days time he will more than likely be facing a ban.In which case his value diminishes.

2.We need any new signings in asap.

I simply won't accept the excuse this time from McNamara that players we're sold late in the window and we had no time to get proper replacements in or the other line of players missing out on a full pre-season.

Don't let Celtic hold us to ransom till the last minute again Utd ffs.

Sort it out this week.
