Re: Andy Webster

Need a guy like him ASAP

A leader, an experienced player, someone to rely on and know he would do a job.

Heard Jackie didnt want him last time due to being too 'opinionated'.

Truth hurts Jackie eh, truth hurts....

He's the exactly the type of guy we need. No doubt about it.

That's what I heard. He'd be ideal for us.  His experience and leadership on the park is exactly what we need.

Re: Andy Webster

If it's a leader and a winner we're after then I think McGowan fits the bill perfectly.

Only right that Dillon stays as club captain but given that he's unlikely to be a regular starter, McGowan should have the armband.

What is it with you and throwing the fed word into a few posts either directly quoted by me or others replying to me?

Re: Andy Webster

Sorry lads, didnae think you took yourselves that serious hence the lol and laughing face  re Webster or any other unsigned player coming to the Heggie suite before or after a game and getting quizzed aboot joining us, well it's probably easier to dangle a carrot about joining to keep the harmony of a good day out going is it no

Re: Andy Webster

After very little thought (doesn't need much tbf) I've decided to quit the forum, it's no fun now, far too serious for me, didnae really want to be seen as following the Vulture's flight path either especially as i dinnae agree with everything if anything he said but at least could laugh about it later. That's the support split in 3 now so when we all walk up to Tannadice next season I'll take one pavement,  the Vulture can take the other and you lads can take the middle of the road lol.

Here's to all, have a nice weekend

Please dont do that Stobie. I could put something funny and ironic here but I cant. I miss reading the Vulture on here, and would miss reading your posts as well mate. Log off for a few days and come back in when your ready. I dont know you personally from adam, but you have always been very funny and fair with your posts, and would like to think we would be able to sit down and have a laugh and a drink together as well. So being totally serious, please reconsider.

Re: Andy Webster

A bit melodramatic quitting the forum.

Re: Andy Webster

Our support is now looking far more disjointed than the club, which doesn't auger well for the new season.

Happens on every board mate, but the guys will still ready daily and usually post under a new name. Mads got over 7000 users and I'll bet more than half are people with multiple usernames

Anyway, back on topic, Whar the fuck is Webster ???

Re: Andy Webster

According to Jackie we aren't signing anymore players which means signing Webster will probably be out the window.

Re: Andy Webster

Eh try no ti be cynical but if it came down to a choice between Durnan and Webster, the choice on the mind of those within tannadice would be Durnan.

Why? Simple. Sell on value, Durnan could always go for some sort of fee, even if small. Webster, probably no.
