I'd noticed some discussion on the subject of transfer income on the John Souttar thread - lots of figures have been bandied about here and elsewhere over the last few months so I thought this might prove helpful to try and give an accurate(ish) figure.
According to the clubs published accounts income received for the disposal of player registrations from 30/6/2011 - 30/6/2024 was £2,815,622.
The anticipated gain from the sales of Andy Robertson and Ryan Gauld for 2014/15 was £3,300,000.
You could add on £2,000,000 for GMS/Armstrong (probably overstating as would be taxed) to arrive at an approximate figure of £8,115,622 for the period June 2011 to June 2015.
Payments for player registrations in the period June 2011 to June 2914 were minimal at £191,644.
Hope this is helpful.

Awrite folks, first post apart from the new poster forum.
Find it shite that as fans we have to worry about the money we get from sales. But we do now, or we could wind up like the "them". No offense Scarpia im much more worried about where we are going to be at the end of this season on the field. Some of the young lads may be exciting and having money from the good player we have lost, but we need a replacement for Nadir, never mind Stu and GMS, and where do find that for the little money do we get that from. I just want to finally see us beat those green minks at that place, but unless they invest, I really canny see it and am more worried about worse. I really hope I am wrong. Just incase my 24th season book arrived today.

No offense taken (and welcome from a newish poster).
Share your concerns about the squad and like most am more interested in the fitba than the financials.
Having said that if we're having a tough time on the park the money numbers will continue to be poured over so I'd thought it'd be a good idea to look at one of the areas (transfer income) where IMO much has been said/speculated about without looking at the actual figures.
I'm confident of the accuracy of the above and if I can get my head round the more complicated financial stuff am gonna look at where it's been spent....if my head doesn't explode first
Will post it up on here when/if done (assuming TEK doesn't mind).
And if I find out when we're getting the Guiness Arabnophobia will be the first to know

Of course I don't mind Sir.
Please do.
Not enough people armed with the financial facts.

And another Fifer!
Welcome to the forum sir.
Came across this on the FIFA website while looking at another matter.
Looks like some of the payments that have been causing concern may become a little more transparent.
"This new regulatory approach will supersede the current licensing system on 1 April 2015. Key elements of the new regulations
Transparency: full disclosure and publication of the remuneration and payments made to intermediaries as a result of transactions that they are involved in (for international transfers, further details must be inserted into FIFA’s Transfer Matching System)
Payment of intermediary fees: identifying which entity (clubs or players) are responsible for paying intermediary fees and what percentage intermediaries are paid
Conflicts of interest: proper disclosure if any conflicts of interest by all parties involved"
Will only cover from Ciftci onwards though.
