Just logged on and noticed the Board is running MEGA slow.

Has it been like this all day,anyone ?It's normally pretty fast.

Also is it just me or has my background (football pitch) dissapeared and reverted to the plain basic tangerine background ?

Just checked the site on my mobile and all seems as normal.Fucking weird

On the laptop though everything's all tae pot.

Anyone on their PC/laptop what's it like ?

Fine here on laptop and mobile....although has frozen on my mobile a couple of times....laptop fine

Nope unfortunately they are there now Saint Obby.Obviously the sites been getting enough hits of late for Boardhost to sit up and take notice.They've also fucked about with the site and removed one of the Search bars (though the main search function uptop is still there,thankfully).

I'm pissed off about it as i wanted the board Ad free.But unfortunately i don't own the site,FOR NOW.

Hopefully it doesn't ruin anyone's enjoyement of the Board too much.

Not sure exactly what problem your having bugsy but i find that a lot on other forums when there's a lot of you tube clips posted on one thread...takes ages to load....might not be this place

I think this is the problem.

The more Youtube clips that are posted the slower the thread in question runs i've noticed.

Maybe if we all just posted the Youtube link,rather than embedd the video,the thread would run faster.

A lot of the problems the site is encountering i'm trying to solve by trial and error at the moment.

Hopefully once i'm more clued up on things,the site will run better.

I have quoted a few clips i.e. the 81 Scottish Cup final, from now i will edit said clip from quote to reply, this may help rather than duplicate clips on the same thread?

Thought it could be something like that so after a few attempts left it loading while I did something else but still got closed down. Just happened on the one thread and I wanted to wax lyrical about St Andrew and the Woollen Mill.
