Re: tunisia attack

Yip just speaking about that there, popular destination for people i know too. They were a bit apprehensive before they went but returned last week and two weeks before that and said it was great and they wouldn't hesitate to go back and were in fact going to do so again next year. Their original instincts were right. Fuck that for a holiday. Even fly McKay must have a cold shiver down his spine

Hear their shout, hear their roar
They've probably had a barrel of ale and much, much more
Hooray, hooray, hooray, yeah
Over the hill went the swords of a thousand men

Re: tunisia attack

Don't we British get angry any more? Where is the national outrage at such atrocities? Have they become just another day at the office? And are the memories filed away like holiday snaps? I'm afraid that decades of namby-pamby government have turned us from proud conquerors into a nation of effeminate wimps!

It's utterly horrific Leedsy, but what can the Government do about it?

We're not sure when or how these people are gonna strike.

Tbh we don't even fully know the enemy or what they want or why they're carrying out these atrocities.

It all seems so indiscriminate and slaughtering poor innocent people just for the sake of it.

Re: tunisia attack

These people do not represent Muslim's.

The same way the IRA didn't represent all Southern Irish.

They're simply a terrorist organisation imo.

Other muslims died in their Paris attacks (and probably in Tunisia too),they're not exactly stopping to ask.

What they certainly want is to cause even more religious divide though.

And to that end it would seem they are being successful.

Re: tunisia attack

They blew up a mosque in Kuwait as well last week. These people are monsters, but they are monsters to everyone, including other muslims.

Too much commotion

Your spot on Tek.

I will come clean with everyone here now and tell you that Mrs Sieb is in fact a Muslim, my father in law is Pakistani and a Muslim and my mother in law is from Kilmarnock (don't judge her! Lol). Mrs Sieb is not religious in any way as she was brought up to follow her own path in regards to religion and beliefs, so she is Muslim in name only. My father in law is still religious and still goes to the local mosque when he can and despairs of what is going on right now.

Please do not think all Muslims condone these actions, any sane person regardless of sex, religion, social standings etc can tell you that they are seriously misguided in the head if they think action like this will change anything apart from make it worse for both sides.

Islamophobia is sadly relevant in some quarters now, Mrs Sieb told me she was actually glad when she got married and changed her name, as she got a little grief for her maiden name, which was Muhammed, especially trying to get through customs at the airport.

People are different, different views, different religion, different skin colour, different football teams they support, but when you get to know them you could find out that they can actually  be not that different from you after all.

I have two beautiful girls who 'technically' are deemed mixed race as well due to Mrs Sieb, who actually looks more Latino heat than anything, and I can get very 'sensitive' when it comes to my family as all can probably relate to, so I appriciate very much if we don't even go there with any racial slurs etc, which I am sure we won't

And besides, Mrs Sieb is in the huff because Coming to America got eliminated from the 80's movie competition!
