Joining Doc and Marty is John Rambo who will live on, unseeded that is, into the next round. The Lost boys were well and truly lost and Tron's floppy disc crashed, we wish everyone well in their future endevours.

Phil was then 'demoted' for his recent work on Jurassic World and is now credited as 'Dinosaur Consultant'.

Ragin Bull, I found it dull and slow paced, if I'm honest.
Robocop - good film, I wanted an Ed209.
Airplane, I could quote that film til the cows come home and still laugh at it everytime I see it.
Full Metal Jacket is a tremendous film, no if buts or maybe's.
I vote for Full Metal Jaikit!!

Robocop not to fussed, the other 3 are the hardest choice so far but going to go for Airplane as it still makes me laugh even though I've seen it countless times

Just to say real quick, I do the main part of the competition on a desktop computer and have no control of the size (fnar, fnar) of the posters or images, it's not a representation of what movie I want to go through, I would do that on the comments further down when I'm voting with everyone else. Everything is above board, some images look smaller/bigger on my phone to that on my tablet and desktop so I apologise in advance if it looks a bit messed up but I'm trying to make it look as decent as possible. It takes me about 30-40mins for each game, getting the images, gifs and other info, this morning was a real bitch due to slow 't'internet connection and took over an hour, thought I lost it all when I finished it, was ready to do a De Niro in Raging Bull!

SIR, FULL METAL JACKET, SIR!

As for Raging Bull, I thought it was just ok.
Full Metal Jacket feels like two movies in one, the training part then in combat in Vietnam. The first half when they are in training is absolutely electric and fascinating, rate it very highly, but then it really sags and doesn't hit the same heights when they are in Vietnam. Shout out to Kubrick and his team for filming the entire movie in England and make it look like Vietnam!
Robocop is absurd, silly, gross, over the top and everything else that made 80's movies great! Robocop!
But my vote goes to possibly the funniest movie I have ever seen Airplane! One of the most difficult parts of doing this competition was actually trying to find just one quote to use before the movie poster, too many to choose from. So many classic scenes, it's my sort of silly humour, but it's not for everyone. It tickles me that Aeromexico did buy it to show on there airplanes for in-flight entertainment, would have loved to see the passengers reactions!

Gunnery Sergeant Hartman: How tall are you, private?Private Cowboy: Sir, five-foot-nine, sir.Gunnery Sergeant Hartman: Five-foot-nine, I didn't know they stacked shit that high!
Full Metal Jacket. Think I first watched it when I was about 11 and was the first serious/non-blockbuster film I had really seen and made me realise I could watch proper real films.

I meant to actually mention this to. Definitely felt like that to me as well and still does. Some how not quite as dark and sinister when they are actually at war in the middle of it in Vietnam. Mental.

Quite a diverse spectrum there Siebby!
Have to agree with all the sentiments above, so Airplane gets my vote, but it was run extremely close by FMJ, which gets the silver!

BOOO.........FIX......CONSPIRACY
You're doing a grand job mate.I can entirely sympathise with the slog these competitions are. When i was doing them on Mad i lost count of the amount of times where i would write a comp up for 45-50 minutes and hit 'send' and the site would either crash or it would log me out...was infuriating. After awhile i learned to scroll over the entire text before submitting it and copying it just incase.Don't have the same problem anything as much thankfully on here.
Once you get by the 1st Round it's a lot easier.I just use the search bar and by and large copy'n'paste.
Keep up the good work Siebby, enjoying the comp.
