anything over half a millon quid and i'd get rid....he's a bombscare...a frustrating bombscare...

lets no forget it tae...he wants away....and imo he'd have been away like a shot last january if we ok'd it

500k

Take off Jmac's 10% and Nads 30% and we're left with about 300k.

What's the point?

The guys a matchwinner on his day.Let's at least try and get a good few months out of him.

Just my tuppenceworth.

jmacs 10% and nads 30%...is this written gospel 100% genuine....

anyway...300 grand we could buy 2 matchwinners...we got him for nothing

Re: Nadir charged with biting

Fair enough, if he really is desperate to go to the point where he's going to take the huff, then get rid.

Only the manager will be able to gauge that by speaking to the lad. If he can be persuaded that another year of screwing the nut here will get him a top move (and it well could), then we have to keep him.

One of the best I've seen at Tannadice. I'd be gutted if he went for half a million.

I don't know if it's 100% genuine internet FACT...but i've heard it from a good few people with closer connections to the club than i.

Fair enough if you think we should use the money to replace him.I think we'd struggle to find a player as good as Ciftci though on our budget.

It's because we got him for nothing that i'm philosophical about losing him for nothing.

Re: Nadir charged with biting

It's up to the chairman to decide what's best.

If Ciftci is desperate to leave then take what we get. If not let him serve the ban and see how he reacts after it. He's frustrating as fuck but it might be worth the risk to keep him

Yeah yeah Industrial Estate

Re: Nadir charged with biting

when he plays for the team, you could argue he's up there with anything thats ever played for Utd...

but a good percerntage of the time he does my fucking head in lol

then added to that this wreckless nonsense....lets not kid ourselves on here, i'd wager every time he's done something wrong he's done wrong...been lucky as fuck every time to get off....strangled cunts, bit cunts, booted cunts in the puss...and thats the times he's been caught

GMS said he wouldn't re-sign.....he then went fae G.G.GMS to faggot...overnight......

.

Of course.

But i'm sure a bit of coaxing and proper man management could potentially get a blistering few months out of him.

If he does go hopefully it's to Turkey or somewhere else other than Glasgow.

His lunacy is part of the reason I love him tbh! I'd detest him if he played for someone else. But see when I see boys literally screaming at him for holding onto the ball or shooting from 45 yards when there's umpteen better options (for the 12th time that game admittedly!) I just think, enjoy it. Yes, it's frustrating. But this boy is as entertaining as we've ever seen. Just enjoy watching him. We're all gonna be misty eyed for years about this boy.

Maybe I don't take it seriously enough these days.

Or maybe I'm secretly in love with Ciftci...

Re: Nadir charged with biting

I'm willing to share.

Re the screw loose thing, I was speaking to Zeki from the Agacan about him recently, apparently he's in there all the time. He was saying that he's an absolute gentlemen, very respectful and quiet. Would never swear in front of Zeki.

Must be something about setting foot on the pitch that sends the boy daft.

Re: Nadir charged with biting

Nadir defo strikes me as the type of lad that needs an arm around his shoulder and to feel loved. If you scream and shout at him he'll just dig his heels in even further (he's the footballing equivalent of Offshore Arab ).

Look at Morphman's post last week about his face tripping him when that taxi driver kidded on he never knew who he was.The big mad bastard just wants to be loved. Some sort of issues there anyway.

That's why i think if McNamara handled this well we could actually get a very good season out of him when he's available.

We'll see how it plays oot.

Re: Nadir charged with biting

I think the fact we got him for nothing leads many fans to think that making any kind of profit from him now is good business. I disagree.

With a year left on his contract and a history of trouble making on and off the field (the reason other teams binned him apparently), I don't see a team paying over a few hundred grand for him.

I think his goals and assists easily cover this as a bottom 6 finish would have been likely without him this year.

It's all very well saying we could spend 300k on 2 replacements etc, but that's a bigger risk than keeping him. Even if he is out for 5-10 games. Almost a guaranteed 15+ goals and 5+ assists in a season is not something we can afford to be without, regardless of his mental state.

My opinion is, take whatever punishment comes his way on the chin (after arguing his case..... If he has one) and keep him til the end of the season.

Re: Nadir charged with biting

Unfortunately I think we might get a bit of an Al Capone - Tax evasion situation here...they have been made to look foolish by all the other attempts to cite him in the last two years and if they finally get him...it could be a long one!

Trouble off the field . Apart from the Club's stance, does anybody else back the laddie
