Re: Dundee Utd away kit 2015/16

Probably the same as the home shirt but white instead of 'orange'.

Re: Dundee Utd away kit 2015/16

Will probably look good with long sleeves.

Relieved it's black and white.

Don't hate it, don't particularly like it either, all a bit meh.

Hard to see in pics but it's got a wee  pattern running through.

Re: Dundee Utd away kit 2015/16

Not the worst effort we've ever had,but far from the best either.

As Slateford said all a bit 'MEH'.

Won't be remembered as a 'classic' i shouldn't think.

Hopefully it is remembered however as a strip we had some memorable victories in....over to you Utd.

Defo!!

As others say, it's not a classic but not the worst effort. Last seasons was better.

How much longer are we with Nike? The club say they are getting a good deal out of it but I would like to see us go with Umbro or Adidas. Kappa strips are also good and their training gear is better.

Re: Dundee Utd away kit 2015/16

I think the Nike strips have been generally quite good.

But a return to Adidas would be grand.Their designs and stripes just lend themselves so well to tangerine+black.

Wouldn't even be against Puma.Quite like some of their strips.

Re: Dundee Utd away kit 2015/16

Incidentally funny how we've never had Umbro eh?

We've never struck me as an 'Umbro club'.

The deal was extended by 3 years in May 2013 so I think this might be the last Nike season unless another extension happens.

Always thought the Adidas stripes jazzed up our strips. Kappa might be a good shout.

It's a strange one, most clubs have had them as a supplier at one point or another except us. The stuff the are bringing out now is decent, has a retro look to it and they have went back to the original umbro decal, quite smart.

Would like to see a bit of change up, that will be 7 kits we have had with them now. Agree on the Adidas stripes, timeless. Always liked the Kappa stuff!

Re: Dundee Utd away kit 2015/16

Personally think that there's too much importance put on a strip, unless your a bairn.

Utd's strips are usually gash anyhow and these 2 new anes are as bad as we've ever had.

I think most football fans turn into bairns when it comes to their team

Re: Dundee Utd away kit 2015/16

I love Adidas gear - really do. I canna mind the last time I bought trainers that didn't have 3 stripes on them - but dons fans think the quality is guff and the new strips has polka dots on the collar!

This place would go into meltdown if we had polkadots

If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.

Re: Dundee Utd away kit 2015/16

Agree about the long sleeves. Looks good. Last seasons away strip was better because it looked original (due to the badge) whereas this looks a bit off the shelf. Neither strip this season is bad though, just a bit plain. A bit like 2010, I'll take that if the season pans out the same way.

I'm pretty sure Nike own Umbro. I remember when I was wee having arguments about the merits of Adidas vs Umbro. Anyone else do the same?

I'd prefer Adidas but wouldn't object to someone like Macron actually, some of their Italian team strips are quite smart.

Too much commotion
