Germany V's Scotland

Sunday 7th September (19.45) Live on BBC Scotland.

Normally hate the International weekends, but it doesn't get much more mouth-watering than travelling to the Westfalen, home of Dortmund,to take on the World Cup holders.

Think we'll get gubbed 2 or 3 nil,but you never know.

Scotland have previous for defeating the World Champions.

Re: Germany V's Scotland

What's the match getting televised on? Is it BBC Scotland or Sky Sports 5 or is it maybe both? I keep on hearing it's the latter.

Re: Germany V's Scotland

Away games tend to be BBC, where as Home games are on Sky. Of course not set in stone, but usually this way.

Re: Germany V's Scotland

It's on SS5.

I think all Scotland, Wales, NI and Ireland qualification games, home and away are on Sky now.

Not sure if they are all exclussive though, maybe the Beeb can show some too.

It's quite bad that a lot of old folk and young as well cant watch this game on Free view in Scotland but can watch England instead

Re: Germany V's Scotland

It could have been 5-5. Two poor defences but it made for an entertaining game. Ref was a total homer though.

Re: Germany V's Scotland

Thought we did ok. Lost 2 really poor goals. A point was there for taking

Thought they were average compared to what they were like in summer. Suppose they had a few players out. They'll get better.

Yeah yeah Industrial Estate

Re: Germany V's Scotland

Scotland played very well last night. We deserved at least a draw and possibly were the better team.

Better finishing and we will have a chance in this qualification.

The boy Anya has been a revelation at International level.

Strachan is doing a great job and there's a real freshness about the side at long last.

Re: Germany V's Scotland

Scotland are probably a good centre half away from being a pretty decent side.  How we get on in these qualifiers is going to depend on Steven Fletchers fitness (we're fucked in other words).  The difference when he came on was stark.  If they could get a midfield of Snodgrass Brown Mulgrew Anya, with Naismith playing off of Fletcher with Andy Robertson at left back then they could do well in this group.  Pity Snodgress is out for ages too now though.
