Many thanks to Hamiltonarab for giving me the numbers for Game 2.
With a stellar first game it turned out that Johnny 5 wasnt quite alive after all, and a shock early exit for the Predator, but he was one ugly motherfucker anyway. Nazi high fives all round for the crew of Das Boot who go through to the next round as runners up, but the hero of the day was that yippee ki yay no shoe wearing mofo John McClane in Die Hard which goes through as the winner and a top seed for the next round.

Three great films in there. In my view of course.
Got to be Scarface. Maybe the overall winner already!

Spinal Tap.
I like Scarface but think it's a wee bit over rated.

I think both Scarface and The Shining are ok but overrated imo, I have some weird tastes sometimes. I do love Spinal Tap, check out the cast commentary on the DVD, all the guys are still in character and it's hilarious.
But my vote goes to the movie I have seen the most out of this four and never got tired of, it is The Princess Bride.

Fuck 3 great films, and even the Princes Bride is strangely watchable (loved Andre the Giant back in the WWF days).
Gotta be The Shining...it is still sinister as fuck.
Hope Spinal tap goes through to though.genuinely hilarious in parts.I actually think the songs are great too (incidentally they're all written by the band).

"My girl fits me like a flesh tuxedo, I'm gonna sink her with my pink torpedo. Big bottom, big bottom, talk about bum cakes my girls got 'em"
Better lyrics than any Bono shite.

Also another bit of trivia, both The Princess Bride and Spinal Tap are directed by Rob Reiner, and Christopher Guest who plays Nigel Tufnel in Spinal Tap is married to Jamie Lee Curtis in real life (and has British aristocratic ancestors) plus he also plays Count Rugen in the Princess Bride, the man with 6 fingers on his right hand. So if he counts all his fingers they go up to 11!
Yes I am a sad little fucker

Has to be Tony Montana "say hello to my little friend" best actor and film ever? It's possible
Offline
The Shining

The ending of Scarface let's it down for me.
It's like Rambo or something.
Totally over-the-top B-Movie nonsense.Doesn't fit in with the rest of the movie.
It's like the writers+Director we're doing as much coke as Tony Montana and just thought 'ach Fuck it'!!
