Only other place would be the Shed as the terraces are the same as when it used to be standing.

I think this could be a success, but would you be buying a season ticket for a designated seat/standing spot? Or would you be able to mix it up when you like without being huckled out of another persons area?

Fair doo's.
I just think that if there is a bit of give and take with where you can stand it might get more folk involved in moving to where the singing is as opposed to having everyone spaced out as things are in the ET at the moment. Too many times a song starts off over at the GF side of the ET Lower and by the time folk neaar my bit start to get involved it's finished.
Before all seater stadiums became compulsory, you could stand in the thick of it in the middle of the shed or you could head out towards the side.

I remember ST mentioned it back in Feb but, as like i felt at the time, it must of been purely a PR stunt to try and get the fans onside. Would love it to happen at Tannadice
Mr Drivel said we would be the first.
Another line spun for the sake o it.

Id imagine not everyone who sits in the east stand would want to sit there if safe standing was introduced and move to george fox. Same going for george fox people would want to move to th east stand.
Id make season tickets same price for george/east lower tiers also

This would be what we would get id imagine. wouldnt have any affect on the capacity either i ooubt

I'm not paying any extra to stand when the club has raked in millions for players in last few years

Get that safe-standing terracing in the 'Palestine' the old corner between Shed and Fox.
An open terrace all the young guys can stand together and make a racket with or without their drum and they're
1.Creating an atmosphere
2.Not bothering anyone who wants to sit
Re-open The Shed so if it starts pissing down the lads can just walk over there and sit if they want too.
As i said previously what's the point of ripping out seats when we could use this to ENHANCE an already dilapidated part of the ground ?

Decent shout.
Would like to see something fan initiated happen.
For something good to take off it will work better that way rather than ST taking any kind of credit for getting this going as folk are split and already claiming he is mentioning a standing area for popularity/ forgiveness.
Obviously he will be the one who passes any requests but the fans are the ones who will make any idea work and that will take unity.

I 100% agree with all that bud, i think it needs to be pushed for by the fans but tbh i can't see ST ever putting in money for it even though he did say he would back in Feb.

Ta Bowers! Was gonna try a new thread for season ticket holders to respond to, but I think you can only have one poll question per post, so I'll try it on here and hope it does not get too messy....
Q1. Where's your season ticket in the ground?
Q2. If railed seats were introduced at Tannadice, where should it be - (A) ETL; (B) GFL/ET corner; (C) GFL/Shed corner; or (D) Jerry Kerr?
Q3. If introduced, would you be interested going, wherever it was installed?
Q4. Based on the commercial idea of "buy a brick", would you be prepared to pay (for arguements sake) say £20 per month for 12 months for your own little part of Tannadice, ie you buy a railed seat?
***********************************************************************************************************************
So for me:
Q1. ETL
Q2. (D) Jerry Kerr as it's basically an unused space and I think the added elevation would afford a great perspective with a standing view.
Q3. YES
Q4. YES
1. GFL
2. Shed and ETL with complimentary taxi at half time.
3. Maybe yes, but definite if ^^^^.
4. Absolutely, if 2 above.

As been previously said it was a PR stunt all along.

Every club gives a decent quote there apart from us.Dissapointing.
Hibs 'in constant dialogue' with their supporters over the issue.
The proper way to do things.
