no sure pal...i'm an old school type that loves 100%ers...we'll never buy someone who can replace his ability...that would cost a fortune...but we need someone who can play up top and bring others into the game....Muirhead looks the part but is to young...i'd like a wee buzzbomb that could play aff Muirhead...got to build up top round him

Agreed, for as much I loved Nadir when he bothered to play, he was so frustating at times to watch. Muirhead up front with somebody with pace would be a great combo IMO

Tommy McLean had a very similar career at Utd...first season great success playing a way that was different fae most teams...2nd season persisted with it even though we'd been sussed out...jmac needs to try and keep opponents guessing...hence the two up top proper...
ken he's not the flavour of the month but i pray Anier hasa great pre season and hits it aff with Muirhead and gets the support onside....said many times that partnerships win games...and it would cost fuck all...win win

Yeah, got to agree. Really hope Anier proves himself. Still have hope for him, needs until December at least though and with a decent run at it. Can't keep going through attackers/forwards and writing them off.

United's board really need to make it crystal clear to all Agents that if their Clients play in their first 180 minutes after joining us, that there's no way back from that with some of the more vocal members of our (ahem) "support"!

Said it before regarding our support: many of them must have been fantastic players themselves.
Henri Anier looked a decent prospect at Motherwell, and has wide experience throughout Europe. He's still only 24, and came to Tannadice at a time that the club was beginning a supporter meltdown following controversial (daft) sales to Celtic.
Given the opportunity, I'm sure he'll show he's a far better player than an admittedly large group of supporters seem to believe.
