So where do you wish you could go to or even what ground at a certain period in time 60's, 70's etc?
For me there is quite a few :-
Highbury - especially during the late 80's to early 90's.
Goodison at anytime.

Highbury is one I would have liked to have visited. Would like to visit Goodison, especially as it will not be here for much longer which I think is an absolute travisty. I was hopeful that after the Craven Cottage was renovated it might begin a new trend in teams retaining their grounds which are as much a part of the clubs identity as the fans are, many times they go hand in hand. I cannot imagine United being at another ground other than Tannadice, I would hate it. I see teams like Arsenal, Man City, Hull, Stoke, Sunderland, Middlesbrough, Southampton, Leicester.... and their grounds look so sterile and soulless.
I was disappointed when I heard we were playing QPR as Loftus Road is a ground I have always wanted to visit and I am on holiday at the time of the friendly, but I'm not bothered now I have read it is being played in Barnets Minecraft Stadium.
Some grounds that are still here I want to visit:
- Villa Park
- Selhurst Park
- White Hart Lane
- Vicarage Road
- The Hawthorns
- The Boleyn Ground
- Griffin Park
- Ashton Gate
- Craven Cottage
- Portman Road
- Hillsborough
A few that I would have liked to have visited:
- Highbury
- Ninian Park
- Burden Park
- Baseball Ground
- Leeds Road
- Boothferry
- Filbert Street
- Ayresome Park
- The Dell
- Roker Park
Old grounds might not have or have had the best facilities or view etc, but they beat any new ground hands downs in terms of character, atmosphere and what supporting a football team was about. Far to much concern over food, fan zones and other pish like this. I go to watch the football, not play it on an xBox.
Its pretty tragic this has all allowed to have been destroyed,

I'm England I've been to St James Park, Emirates, Etihad and Bramell Lane.
Emirates is smart as fuck as is the Etihad. Both are a bit soulless though. St James Park is cracking. Was there a few years ago and it puts our National Stadium to shame.
Bramell Lane is like the rest of Sheffield. A fucking dump

I would have to say Wembley, looked the biz back in the day especially when the Tartan Army were there. Also Auld Murrayfield particularly when we beat England to the Grand Slam. Cathkin Park would have been another back in the day when they more than held their own against the Ugly Sisters.

Tidy wee ground. Like the terraced sections.

Can't comment too much about Bramell Lane, but did get the impression it may be creeking a bit. Although that is what I like and these old grounds create some atmosphere.

There are some cracking accounts on Twitter that post pictures of grounds in UK all the time
