The way I read it...

He stands by the decisions they made and has no regrets. Jackie is the shizzle and people who criticise his contract are unfair.

I think he fails to mention several key issues - such as jackie has the 3rd biggest budget and has spent the second highest amount on players as well as being on a high wage - yet the team is not performing to that level.

We have brought in 2 fullbacks yet we still can't defend - we've conceded 22 more goals than St Johnstone, the team just above us.

Surely whether our previous managers have been on a a stupid wedge is imaterial to jackies contract?

Further to that, I can see the sense in giving jackie a bonus in his contract - HOWEVER, he should not profit from players who he hasn't developed! Gms and Armstrong were fully fledged first team ers under houston. ...

Would also be interesting to see sales of new tops and season tickets are compared to last 5 seasons....

Good post Tangy but better watch oot mate you'll get PM's on here calling you all sorts and claiming youve an agenda against the club ha ha

faf anymore come on that?

Re: Sunday Sun today - big Chairman interview

The season is over now and whilst I along with others are unhappy with quite a few things, I think its time to move on.  As TEK said after the Dundee game said, it was time to lance the boil of poison running through the relationsip between the club, management and supporters.  Hopefully the manager gets things sorted out over the summer and refocuses.  He needs to start with a clean slate and see where we go from there.  Lets face it, if we are back struggling come October/November time after 10-15 games, even McNamara must know he's going to be in trouble.  If he is in that situation, then it'll be his own fault and no-one can say he's not been given a chance considering how many people (myself included) wanted him punted after the ICT game a few weeks back.  Until that happens (hopefully it won't, no-one on here wants him to fail) then we need to get behind the team and club.

Folk falling out and sending pm's is bang out of order on any board and is certainly not what this board is all about.  Get a grip and enjoy the summer and SEVCO fall out because lets face it, no matter how bad things are with us at the moment, we are fucking idyllic compared to that clusterfucking omnishambles of a dead club.

Too much commotion

PM facility is brilliant. Between that and firm, fair moderating it's what saves this forum from becoming MAD. Plus, of course, a
 bit of self-discipline.

Re: Sunday Sun today - big Chairman interview

Friendly reminder to members that personal abuse won't be tolerated on here, whether that is on the boards or via PM makes no difference.

Have let this incident slide because it's a one-off and Offshore doesn't want it to go any further.

But suffice to say it won't be allowed to happen a second time. The PM facility is for off-board gossip, discussion and ironing-out any on-board differences,NOT esculating them.

Hasn't been an issue upto now and i doubt it will be again, but word to the wise for the person getting abusive,no more please.
