Well no too bad at all today lads.
Played some ok stuff, defence was pretty good, Dillon was excellent, young Souttar showed some classy stuff.
Support was good also, 10.8K pretty damn gid and three past the Fun in the last game of the season. Have to say after all the shite of the last 4 months off and on the park it is a good feeling today.
Here's hoping for a good close season and some positivity re next season. SRYB

Great end to the season, hopefully lifts the doom and gloom, Spittal was fantastic and Ciftci too

Thought spiral and ciftci where great , didn't see a failure at all

Gradually got better as the game went on: I thought 2-0 at ht was harsh on Dundee, but they really had nothing up front today. For us, Erskine mom is surely based on alcohol in the hospo. Impressed by Spittal, Souttar and Ciftci especially. Nadir gives us some bite.
See when the staff came on at the end, clearly Rado is off, maybe Fojut too, but I wasn't sure what to make of Ciftci. And there were a few folk waving who I couldnt place.
Examples: who was with Simon Murray? Who was the guy with the suit and United tie?

Mark McCallum came in with Murray. Think the boy in the suit was the club doctor.

Thought I might miss today but didn't drink as much in Glasgow as I thought I would.
Thought 2 nil at half time flattered us but that's the nature of the game. Glad Rado got a good reception although I'll be glad to see back of him. Souttar is quality. Ciftci great as well.

We didn't start that well, Dundee had a lot more of the ball and were winning the second balls, they had nothing up top tho and created little.
At 2 0 it was pretty much over and some of the play after that was very very good, If only we could've done that for the past 3 months we'd have been fighting for 2nd today not 4th.
Good way to end the season tho, now it's time for Jackie to prove his worth in the transfer market and get a squad ready for a much harder season next year.

Just in from the boozer so p1ssed. Tea in the bin, so youll have to put up with my p1sh. The lads certainly got their finger out. Great effort. Very entertaining match.
Great moments other than the goals.
McGowans header off the bar. Shiftys ballet dancing. McGowans volley following Shiftys trick cross. Souttar was MOTM for me. Eg. his run thru late on, when he gets into the box and a backheel toward goal. Dillon outstanding headers today esp. back to Rado. Rado sendoff tremendous, and Szromniks great save as his 1st touch.

Too drunk to post. FUN.

The back 5 (including Rado were excellent).
Nadir is class.
Thank you for your service, rado and Foj.

Sad day for me fellas.Suffered a family bereavement in the early hours of the morning, and as a consequence i obviously wasn't really fucked if we won or lost.
Did watch the game though on a laptop stream (cheers again Waffelz) and i thought although 2 nil perhaps flattered us at ht,by the end we were very worthy winners and played some lovely stuff actually at times.
No real failures today but i thought stand-out performers were McGowan (class),Erskine,Dillon,Ciftci,Souttar (for 18 years old what a player),and Rankin (anyone noticed how much better he's been since Souttar moved in beside him?Seems to have more time+spaceon the ball).
And Rado had a good game too and personally very pleased he was able to sign-off on a clean sheet.I will strangely miss him.
Days like i've had today brings home conclusively that there are some things far more important than fitba, but we all need our passions+distractions in life and Dundee United are mine.Always have been and always will be.
The past few months have been thoroughly depressing what with all the uncertainty+infighting.Add on too that abject performances for the most part and it's no wonder our support have went into a bit of a meltdown.
I hope today's thumping win has perhaps lanced the boil that was spreading poison throughout the entire club.Certainly something felt cathartic today about the win.Time will tell i suppose.

Good post Tek.
Next season we'll either be better or we'll be worse.

Sorry to hear that as well TEK, sometimes we can live in our own bubble and get so upset over silly things that can appear to be so insignificant in the cold light of day when things like this can happen.
We are all here because we share the same passion and distraction, and your right it can be cathartic at times, we all might not share the same opinion as one another but we are, for better or for worse, in it together.
Thank you for giving us the opportunity boss.
