Police made them wait inside for almost two hours after the game and the kid was fainting, so someone at the door let the four leave before the rest. Minutes after, they were approached by this commissioner, that asked what they were doing outside...


The man claims he replied his son was faiting and that the officer told him in no uncertain terms that he should´ve know better, that was no place for children. He then said that was for him to decide, that they go wherever their team was playing and they expected to celebrate after and that´s when he lost it


The officer claimed in his oficial report that the man insulted, threatened and spat at him while the older gentleman prevented him from making the arrest.


Somewhere in the middle is probably the truth but after the vídeo footage was released, their celebration cut short and riots broke with 16 police officers left injured, one blinded... unfortunately the one responsable for everything won´t lose his job or see the inside of a jail cell and this will all die down in a couple of weeks.

Benfica have invited the family to receive the throphy with the team, this saturday.
