Reckon the stand off involves some of the playing staff TBH. They either don't want to play for Jackie or just don't want to play for the club full stop. 2 or 3 guys on the park today who quite simply didn't give a fuck. Wish some of the others had the balls to pull them up on it.
Really pissed off with it just now.

Certainly is.
Pretty big turn over of players required this Summer once again.
And we need to know in the next 2-3 weeks wtf is gonna be the man to implement the necessary changes.
I would ask everyone on the board regardless of whether you think i'm being harsh.....do you trust Jackie to make the necessary signings?I don't.
But there are several other reasons why i feel we need a new man at the helm tbh.

As you all know, for various previously stated reasons, I trust Jackie.
But I also believe he's being shafted/made a patsy by ST at the same time.
But regardless of any post, negativity helps no cunt.

I don't have a problem with you supporting Jackie mate (or anyone else).
But this whole ethos of 'don't say anything negative regards the club'.
If that was to be implemented fully the club would go downhill pretty fucking rapidly let me tell you.

Totally agree with this, we are not Rangers or Celtic so let's stop the arrogance and ignorance.

Bigotry
Heated discussion more like.
If anything it's you and Bugsy who seem intolerant towards other people's views.
I respect the fact you both want Jackie to stay. That's your perogative.
I just happen to disagree.
Anyway for tonight i bid you adieu Sir

Sorry TEK, never realised the messageboard critics were keeping the club on an even keel, and certainly never realised that negativity was a positive force.
For the avoidance of any doubt, and in the absence of any smileys, that was indeed sarcasm.
Don't have a problem with constructive criticism but this just seems like tabloid mob rule.

Some tough love needed on the training ground and in the dressing room.
Jackie has actually won some real crunch games during his tenure: the two games against Sevco, the game against the Fun in the Scottish Cup, the Boulding game v sheep, the first game of this season v sheep, the first three games against the Fun, The game v Celtic this season, the LC semi. We've also played some great stuff in spells, last season mainly.
But, it just not happening just now. He may well make some good purchases in the summer which will improve us but I cannot get past the issues that there are at the moment:
We don't look fit.
Teams continually outfight us.
We continually look poor after half time.
We don't defend as a unit.
The goalkeeping situation which could have been rectified in January.
The apparent lack of scouting/research of Bilate, Szromnik and Anier.
The inability to change things when things are going wrong.
The lack of fitness, the defensive issues, lack of organisation, lack of fight are all issues which have nothing to do with the Flintstones getting sold. They existed before they left as well and I worry they will persist next season. If JMAC is still here and has some sort of tactical epipheny during the close season and sorts things out then he will get my full support and I will gladly come on here and say Arabugsy and St.Obswell were right and I am wrong.
But if they are wrong then we could be in relegation trouble next season.

That is a brilliant and very fair summary of things LAO.
Jackie comes across brilliantly in an interview with his steely determination and will to win and determination to play football the right way; and I love that, BUT, BUT, BUT, BUT, BUT
On the field he has to be questioned about our woeful defensive record and his apparent inability to do anything about it. We had a woeful clean sheet record last season and again this, apart from a flying start. Whilst watching Barca win La Liga there, the commentator said they were about to keep their 29th clean sheet in all competitions this season, so I looked at ours. I can only count 10 in all comps. The same exercise with the Sheep shows they kept twice as many as we do!!!
I crave the beautiful game as much as the next man, but the best form of defence is attack mantra is a complete urban myth. The best form of attack is in fact defence.
As well as what you say LAO, his general tactics need brought under extreme scrutiny.
And if he cannot impose his philosophy and will on the squad, well I'm sorry, he's lost our dressing room, which gives the Chairman a problem, as he must pay to get rid; or fiscally back to get things right with players that are mentally tough enough.
The other problem the Chairman has is that if he does want to sell the Club as part of a personal exit strategy and he does not want to pay off the Management Team, he's in danger of the Club' stock and value falling at a quicker rate.
I accepted the (not ideal in a footballing sense) sale of Colin and Justin on pure economic grounds at the time, but it appears that personal gain has clouded pure business judgement. The silence of the Chairman, who let's face it, featured in the Media one way or another pretty much weekly for something or another up until their sale has been deafening and although the Management Team are pissing me off, they have been overtaken in that sense by our Chairman.

From a footballing point of view it was a bad decision to sell SA and GMS, but it was considered to be a good business decision. At the time this appeared to be an obvious viewpoint. However, time has proved, I am sure, that the decision was also a bad business one.
To sack Jackie and his management team, keeping in mind their contracts, would be a good footballing decision, but a bad business one. This seems to be an obvious viewpoint at the moment. However, time might also prove that not sacking them may also turn out to be a bad business decision?
