Re: Montrose v Brora

Love the Hegstar but he'll have a hard job turning Montrose around, heard umpteen stories about the board up there bending over for the locals who stand and spit bile at the dugout because it makes them feel big.

Hear their shout, hear their roar
They've probably had a barrel of ale and much, much more
Hooray, hooray, hooray, yeah
Over the hill went the swords of a thousand men

Over 120 years over professional top flight status preserved.

Well done Heggy+Holty.

I'm a wee league fan: surely only 90 years, Tek?

Re: Montrose v Brora

Just seen their goals on SSN.  The last was a pearler.  God really saved Montrose though as Marvin Andrews scored the second!!!  And if he can play on an artificial surface every fortnight (and more) with his knees, I don't want to hear anyone from United moan about these surfaces ever again!!!

Over 2000 there too, would like to share they're happiness but the for the way they treated George Shields means i wont.
Happy for Heggy and Holty though as relegation would probably finished they're managerial careers.
