I was 11, my old man took me but we couldn't get in the TC Keay. The next best thing was in the Derry but right beside the Utd fans. I just remember it being utter bedlam.
After the match, we went to the Airlie Arms (4Js) I was left standing outside with another load o bairns while ma old man got plastered. He kept coming oot we crisps and coke for me, must've had aboot 8 cans
Looking back, having nae mobile phones in these days must've pure heaven fir blokes as my old dear would've been hassling him to death
Brilliant memories. Took it all for granted ah suppose as well.
Changed days unfortunately.

Member being in the enclosure, right beside utd dugout,
A utd fan shouted at Jim "get sturrock aff" McLean replied
"You want to manage the team? Thought no,so fuck off!"
Or words to that effect!!
