Nothing to do with the score, but Kevin Chancy is well on track for SFA high ranking.

Better than we normally fare at McDiarmid but dissapointing to once again throw away 3 points.

That performance was tragic. McNamara is clueless. Absolutely awful. St Johnstone should have won and would have if they were competent in front of goal.

Re: St.Johnstone v's Dundee Utd - Saturday 9th May @3pm

Indeed. I ended up going. St Johnstone were actually there for the taking but we were too poor to take advantage. We look like a really mediocre team. The defence really is getting beyond a joke now. Souttar kept getting caught on the ball in midfield. Erskine was honking. Ciftci was good. Rados penalty save was class. Muirhead did well at the goal. Anier is fucking tragic.

Too much commotion

I thought he fluffed it but the folk around me were saying he was going mental at Anier for not making an angle which wouldn't surprise me at all.

Worrying after finding out it's slightly less damaging for him to do this in midfield according to general consensus, I'm glad your honest there and i hope the manager and coaches are too. I know he's a young laddie but let's work to rectify this because in my opinion he has it all providing he's sharper on the ball.

Re: St.Johnstone v's Dundee Utd - Saturday 9th May @3pm

Ciftci done brilliantly at first for the break at the end. He was waiting on ANier making the run across the defender but he was running away from the ball. Ciftci went apeshit.

Muirhead was poor but so was everyone. Tragic formation. No width or pace. Too many folk in the centre giving Souttar no room.

TBH it was a point more than I thought we were going to get when I woke up this morning
The way things have been going lately on and off the field and our horrendous record against the fermers, I'm quite grateful for a point

He was going fukin mental at Anier, why the fuk did he run wide when he could have went 1 on 1 with the keeper if he burst through the middle?? Cifyci was our best player by 100 mile. Kudos to Rado also, the rest were well the usual.

Re: St.Johnstone v's Dundee Utd - Saturday 9th May @3pm

Watched the ALBA highlights.

Wasn't quite as bad as i expected tbh.Though it was just admittedly half an hour highlights,so 1 hour of dross cut out which i didn't have to sit through.

Ciftci and Rankin looked full of energy.

Good penalty save from Rado and decent handling all in.

The rest MEH.

Anier absolute shite.Guy reminds me of Andis Shala.Big strong, fairly quick, but no football brain whatsoever.

Running away from the ball when Nads broke away in the last minute...dearie fucking me.

Btw that formation is utter shite McNamara.Full backs constantly exposed and doubled up on.

What did Tommy Wright say to Mcnamara a year past midweek March? Our team has been spooked ever since

Re: St.Johnstone v's Dundee Utd - Saturday 9th May @3pm

On his late run Ciftci was crowded out by FOUR St Johnstone players as he was homing in on goal. Anier did nothing to help him. I was impressed with Ciftci yesterday. Played well, unselfish and despite his late booking, was very tolerant of all the fouls and attempts to wind him up.

Dillon and Dixon frequently caught out. Souttar sloppy at times. Erskine a lot better than others have made out. Ranks deserved his goal. Rado MOTM for me.

Overall though, a better performance than most matches lately. However, the old saying "a new broom sweeps clean" comes to mind. Good to see that Stephen Thompson was in Perth, SCOTLAND, yesterday, not the one down under!

I'd love to know the reasoning behind bringing on Anier and Smith.
