Dundee Derbies

Season ticket sales booming with a lot of them being for this surely. Nothing Is better than waking up on derby morning, unbelievable feeling. Now that they'll probably be stronger it's gonna add more atmosphere.

Sunday 21.09.14 at Dense with a 12.15 kick off. 01.01.15 at The Deech 3.00 atm and Wednesday 08/04/15 with a 7:45 kick off. New years day and a spring evening game, carnage.

So lads what's your 3 favourite derby moments? Of course for those born on or before 14.05.83... We know what yours will be.

Since I'm a 90's lad:

3) 2-1 win at dense In the split In 2005, Jimmy mac and a Mark Wilson free kick. Pretty much kept us up and relegated them. Was only 13 so while I was at others before It, this was my first real memory of a win.

2) the 3-0 again derbies at dense In 2012, great to hammer them cunts twice In front of their ting tong following.

1) Johnny's screamer, ripping the piss out of them after 30 mins and his thunderbolt nearly ripping the net apart. Fucking them Is very pleasing.

Discuss lads.

Re: Dundee Derbies

3) Russell's screamer in the 3-0 derby, great sunny day, great crowd, great score.

2) Jan '02 - Jim McIntyre 90 mins.

1) My first ever away derby, 1999, Dodds with a brilliant shot from a really tight angle and a sumblime shot from Kjell to make it 3-1. Behind the goal, standing with my old man, one of the few Premier League matches I have ever stood for.

Re: Dundee Derbies

My fave was a 3-1 win back in the 92-93 season at Dens in driving sleet when Paddy Connolly scored an absolute screamer and John Clark scored the most bizzare goal you'll ever see. Best bit was Gary Bollan (who scored our fist that day) putting Alan Dinnie about 6 feet in the air in retribution for Dinnie's shocking assault on Paddy. Sent off but the game was won. We showed more fight in that game than the previous 6 months of that season. Billy Dodds scored a dubious goal for them. It was some game.

Re: Dundee Derbies

Fave derbies?  Any where we win.

Do you really think that Dundee being up has had a big effect on ST sales? For 1 game, really?

Possibly two plus the excitement of the added attraction of them.

He was fucking louping when he came on.Even the winner came about fae Ferraz playing the baw right tae Steven Tweed and him taking a horror touch to play it right back against an onrushing Ferraz.

When the baw ricocheted and he broke intae the box i just mind you pointing at him and shouting at him 'you fucking better score'.

BANG

Fucking thunders it by Rab Douglas.

East Stand melts.

Re: Dundee Derbies

I also loved the midweek game in 2001 when the bastards were getting mouthy as fuck cos they'de spent 23million of other people's money tae sign Caniggia,Caballero,Ketsbai,Nemsadze,Sara etc.

Shed go to the ground we've won 3 major trophies at and win 3-2 with 3 scottish scorers (Davidson,Easton and big Jim Lauchlan).

Normal service resumed.
