'no sellable assets'....
was thinking about this earlier..seeing Harry Souttar line up for Scotland under 17s against france and then our young guns whallop the young fun.....got me pondering...do we need sellable assets now?
the most vociferous anti thomo and jmac arabs (they have a right...) kept going on about hemorrahging 150 grand a year and nothing to sell....if the club have faith that we could have 2 or three in a couple of years time aint it worth them putting money into the youths...running up a small debt to then hopefully sell on again like we've done time and time again in the past?..
300 grand of debt in two years aint to shabby if we can sell a couple for 7 figure sums...
speculate to accumulate and all that?

Hopefully John will want to play with his brother in the First Team and recognise that getting at least another full season anchoring our midfield will be the best for his long term development, thus he will sign a new contract. Would hate to think that we would have to rely on a Tribunal should he go on a Bosman. Although based on the logic and precedent of Charlie Telfer is worth £200K with 15 mins of First Team Action in the 3rd tier, Soapy would be worth Jerren Nixon style money!!!

Agree in principle, but our trading/operating losses are £750k a year, not £150k. Crucial investment is the £800k/year on yoofs (copyright ST), but we must reduce our operating costs.
BTW, I'm neither anti ST or JMac, as you may know.
