Well done Tek, here's hoping it's a positive night that sheds some light

Hear their shout, hear their roar
They've probably had a barrel of ale and much, much more
Hooray, hooray, hooray, yeah

Re: Stevie Campbell 'Q+A/End of Season Review'

Sorry Lads,it's not going to happen after all.

Stevie messaged me to say the club have asked him not to do this Q+A.Said he's gutted but hopefully we can get round to it at a later date when/if the club grant him permission.

Can understand the clubs stance but dissapointing nonetheless.

Apologies.

Re: Stevie Campbell 'Q+A/End of Season Review'

Probably understandable, given the uneasy situation between the club and fans to an extent.

Re: Stevie Campbell 'Q+A/End of Season Review'

yeah understand that tbh..he'd only get asked a load of questions that could drop himself in the shite

Re: Stevie Campbell 'Q+A/End of Season Review'

Kinda agree with Pat. Things being what they are, be a shame if some inadvertant question or answer would cause a further rift or division between supporters and or the club. That's no criticism of you BTW Tek.

Re: Stevie Campbell 'Q+A/End of Season Review'

Did he need to ask the clubs permission to do this q&a or did they find out about it?

The latter,i'm guessing.

He agreed immediately. So presumably wasn't too worried what anyone asked.

Dissapointing because i genuinely love hearing his views about the club,Developement team,up-and-coming players etc.

But maybe another time.

Not taken that way at all Bill.

I can see why it may have been seen as problematic by the club. But if they'd asked i could have worked round it i'e' (made the board private for the night and then deleted the thread or made sure certain questions weren't asked and if they were deleted immediately).

At the end of the day i want to harvest good relations between the club and this Forum (despite it being unnoficial) so that in future we can possibly get Q+A/Interviews with other players, coaches, etc.

Re: Stevie Campbell 'Q+A/End of Season Review'

first time he probably knew he'd only get asked about the youths etc...probably guessed he'd get bombarded with questions about the current situation so possibly ran it by the club to keep himself right...or maybe just decided to give it a miss for the time being

No he defo wanted to do mate.

But if the club don't want it to happen that's the end of it.

Re: Stevie Campbell 'Q+A/End of Season Review'

Let's just be thankful for the first one , and assume the club thought it was mad this time.

Re: Stevie Campbell 'Q+A/End of Season Review'

This is maybe a good sign that he is staying.

If I was going to be leaving a job in the maker weeks I wouldn't give a fuck what my boss asked me not to do.
