More Woman Needed In Football?

Dempster and Budge are two of the highest profile woman in Scottish football and are progressive/forward thinking, the Budgie in particular has been a breath of fresh air and not afraid to speak her mind and gets in across in the right manner.

If the Thomson family are to remain in control of United, is it time for Justine to step up to allow her brother to follow his Oz plans?

Having said this, I know little of her other than she was initially mooted to replace Eddie as chairman.

Re: More Woman Needed In Football?

Fair comment Boab, if or when the rules in football change to include a female in every team, what one would you like most to rip the top aff after netting a last minute winner against Celtic or Dundee at Hampden?

Re: More Woman Needed In Football?

I'm sure Eddie planned Justine to take the reigns after he passed away. Her husbands tragic accident days before he died changed the future.
Hope our future is now placed in her control. Her brother did a good job up until recently.  Time for Eddie's original faith to take over perhaps.
I've spoken with some close friends of Eddie's who had no connection with fitba during times Stephen was appreciated and they were surprised he was doing a good job as their perception of him or hope for him was not good in a business or career sense.

Don't want to post their exact thoughts as they weren't to complimentary and might be based on an unfair or limited knowledge but Justine was well thought of and missed her opportunity.

I've read of family fallouts recently and wonder if she is also pissed of with similar things to us.

Her time might be now.

Re: More Woman Needed In Football?

The fact she does seem to be popping up a bit these days is suggesting to me she is perhaps wanting to get involved. Also the fact she was Eddie's original successor tells me she was probably better placed and suited to do this job. Stephen may have taken it as a chance to prove himself and has done until recent mistakes. Will have to wait and see what pans out I guess.
