rado

Marked improvements in last few games.... what's changed?

And on a related note - is it enough to earn a new contract?

Re: rado

The cynic in me would suggest that there are no other offers on the table and as Rado has bills to pay like everyone else he's playing his heart out.

I've always liked Rado and are probably in the small minority of our support who would be happy for him to stay.

If we had another Goalie to give him proper competition his blunders wouldn't be as much a concern as we could take him out the firing line as McNamara did (or attempted to with Szromnik).

The real issue has been that none of the other four keepers on our books have been deemed worthy of being ready to step-up to be No.1.

And I'm not sure how that's going to change over a Summer tbh if Rado does depart.

Szromnik looked like a Rabbit caught in the headlights when brought in.

Re: rado

I'm not sure if there's too much water under the bridge for rado... He has been truly terrible for a large chunk of the season and some charlie Miller style effort at the end of your contract doesn't cut it for me.

Perhaps the chance to move on and freshen things up might be best all round.

Though, he is now showing what we know he can do...

Was there something in the past which he wasn't happy with?

Re: rado

All goalkeepers are capable of making good saves. However it is their mistakes they are remembered by. Time for Rado to move on give McCallum a chance and use Rados wage to try and sign a pacy wide man.

Re: rado

Personally think Radik is a great shot stopper (no new news there) has his faults at cross balls (be it his fault or no) but who would be be better for what we pay?

Hear their shout, hear their roar
They've probably had a barrel of ale and much, much more
Hooray, hooray, hooray, yeah

Re: rado

Think we have it in us to give the keeper a rousing reception in what most likely looks like his last game next weekend lads?

Re: rado

Ffs just read he may miss the derby due to bruised ribs, ouch

Picture in the paper shows him colliding with what looks like Dillon at the 3rd goal
