Allegedly hiring Peter Lawell to do the negotiations for them

We don't give a damn what the others say
We'll cheer on United all the way
For we are the Terrors of Tannadice

Re: Man City eyeing up Souttar

Thats amazing because Ive been reading for the last couple of months that we are doomed because we have no sellable assets, surely the federation of forensic accounts havent got this wrong.

We should be looking good for the Sell Everyone Cup.

Open top bus material.

JMac would still get 10% of this, just let that sink in.

Tbf not many would have foreseen this one coming. The laddies not even debuted yet.

Other than Ciftci,John Souttar and wee Aiden we really don't have any sellable assets currently.

And the latter two wouldn't go for much money.

Soapy because he can sign a pre-contract in 7 months and Aiden because he still has someway to go in his developement at this stage.

As Brian Laws said previously the club are currently losing 15k a week.

If we are plugging financial holes by selling players every few months then eventually this is a concern because there's not an everlasting conveyor belt.

Re: Man City eyeing up Souttar

Absolute disgrace that John Soutars contract is up next year, wtf are they thinking about??

Edited to say, he is out of contract in January.

We are a total Fuck up of a Club these days.

Re: Man City eyeing up Souttar

HH as I have said before it does not bother me that JM gets a cut, good luck to him.

Tek we are only losing 15k a week if you do not include the transfer income. Transfers are paid in installments therefore ST will know how much is coming in next year and will set his budget accordingly. If there are no transfers in 2015-16 (unlikely I know) the 2016-17 wage bill will be reduced, panic over.

It doesnt bother you that we are handing him and his minions £630K off the transfers?? OUR Club's money??

Reap what you Sow.

Before we sold the 4 players we had £2.65 Million of Debt, they are now gone and we still have £2.65 Million of debt, this doesnt bother you ib rthe slightest??

JM signed a contract with a low basic wage with the promise of a cut of any transfer income. He therefore was willing to take a risk which has admittedly paid of big style. I'll admit that I am not one of the insiders who knows the fine details Uniteds P/L account,  However I think your figures may be slightly off. A quick  check at Companies house will show the Debt  was just under 6Million and i know you wont believe ST but he said the debt was now around 1.4m

He is not on o low Basic Wage, he gets £130k a year. He came from Partick Thistle to us, he came to us for the job.

The debt was £2.2 Million to the 'Loan Note' Investors and £465,000 to the Thompsons. That is still the case and has been since before we sold anyone. ST projected it would be down to £1.4 Million once he got all the money in, he previously said £1.3million.

I would be willing to bet anything it wont be down to £1.4Million anytime soon

But was McCall no on £330k a year, 3 year contract worth £1M?

Re: Man City eyeing up Souttar

If Jackie is on 130k that is 10k more than Houston was on. Houston took the huff because ST offered him 90k which still kept him the 3rd best paid in the league by 10k.

Too much commotion

Maybe Tam Duthie was just trawling through TT and saw post #334 on this thread>

Most of DFC Thomson's output now is recycled online material.
