Callum Butcher - The forgotten man

What's happened to this guy ?Not even making the squad these days.

We had no natural defenders on the bench today.

I know he was raw but i thought there was potential there tbh.

Odd one.

Re: Callum Butcher - The forgotten man

He looked to be walking about just fine when he was part of the Arabzone team photo shoot.

I think he deserves another chance personally.

Oyenuga and Gardyne on the other hand not good enough.

Re: Callum Butcher - The forgotten man

Don't like slagging players, but he's never ever going to be good enough. His positional sense was worse than Gunnings.

Re: Callum Butcher - The forgotten man

McNamara never mentions him and no juorno's ever ask about him. Really strange one.

Re: Callum Butcher - The forgotten man

He wasn't particularly good.

Had a really good game v St Johnstone when we won 4 zip. Was lucky to stay on park in debut though.  Some folk seemed to like him because he out in a few bad tackles.

Yeah yeah Industrial Estate

Re: Callum Butcher - The forgotten man

He played really well in the League Cup game against Partick Thistle last season. Him and Gunning looked realy good together as the did against Hibs early door last season. He's a victim of cicumstance really, but the way he been totally erased from view by the club seems a little bit off.

Re: Callum Butcher - The forgotten man

I'm not saying the kid was a 'World-beater'.

What i am saying is,in him,i saw potential.

I've never saw potential in the likes of Oyenuga or Gardyne.

And don't think guys like Brian graham will improve at the age he's at either tbh.

It really seems a bit odd regards Butcher imo.
