Bring back Levein and play the 4-6-0 for this game, Celtic fans in my work love using the "park the bus" analogy to describe every team they face,
lets show them how it's really done then sicken them on the break with an goal from our own half with the last punt of the ball after they've sent Zaluska up front for a corner

Do we have too? Might be better no showing up and taking the 3-0 defeat. Hopefully none of the Dundee United fans pull Celtic players down in the box and hopefully Stokes dosen't play.

Erskine is lazy and doesn't have the fitness to do a job. He'll play though.

He skinned about 3 Aberdeen players and laid one on for Bilate in the box which he failed spectaculary to do anything with.

Other than that even the highlights showed us do the square root of fuck all.

Like it or not,Erskine is one of our better options currently IMO.

FWIW, he's very close to my POTY so far, with less games than he deserved.

How to lose your faith in Scottish football in 7 easy games...

Re: Dundee Utd v Celtic (Part 7) - Sunday 26th April @12.30PM

I hope to fuck we don't lose an early goal because folk will just get up and walk out.  Fucking horrible.  The two times we played well against them this season we got right in their faces.  We need that sort of attitude again.

Too much commotion

ocean if any one walks out if we lose a goal give them a hard slap and tell them to GTF.  Do we have the most fickle fans in thee country?

Re: Dundee Utd v Celtic (Part 7) - Sunday 26th April @12.30PM

Indeed.  In actual fact our fans got right into their fans faces (metaphorically speaking) as well.  That what is needed.  But I just don't think we're up for that.  As HBAF said our season died when the 2nd goal went in in the cup replay.  The fans think that too.  Personally, I've not given up up but my heart sank when I saw the team before the League Cup Final and I'm still struggling to recover.  Need to get up for Sunday though.

when we drew at Tanny In the cup, season was nearly over, we have a small lifeline of 4th getting Europe or maybe a 3rd place finish.

Re: Dundee Utd v Celtic (Part 7) - Sunday 26th April @12.30PM

I'm sick of the fans getting grief tbh.

The fans have 'given up'...we're 'spoilt brats'...'you support your club through thick+thin no matter what'...expectations are ridiculous now'...'it's Thompson's club,he can do what he wants'.

Just some of the comments i've read today, and in recent times.

The fans have been fucking magnificent this season in numbers, and voice in the big games (Aberdeen Semi will live with me for a long long time).

We neeed our Mangement to show a bit of fire and the players to fucking produce a performance worthy of that magnificent badge that adorns the region above their heart.

Not all fans have "given up & act like spoilt brats" etc etc Tek but when you live and work where the majority of the estimated 33,000 arabs at the last Scottish Cup Final come from and listen to the weekly ritual of " that's it I'm no going fucking back, you must be aff yer fucking heid going to watch that shite, he's shite, he's got to go shite" it can actually grind you down to the bones. You need a thick skin at the moment in this City bud and come the Dundee fortnight (I'll quite happily swap you houses for the holidays to let my skin and hair replenish itself for next season)  they're may only 3,300 Arabs left that are prepared to take it on the chin and support our team through thick or thin.

Just an opinion

It makes my blood boil when players have digs at the support, how many times have we turned up to important games and the team hasn't! Prime example was last seasons Scottish Cup final.

As for fans slagging each other off... Whatever makes you feel good if it helps getting it out of your system. I wouldn't be losing too much sleep over it, I would rather do something more productive with my time than constantly being on a downer about things. Each to their own though

Re: Dundee Utd v Celtic (Part 7) - Sunday 26th April @12.30PM

It's fucking up my plans for the weekend, but I'm going up to the game, expecting very little.

Really just using up the games on my season ticket and hoping that someone will give the club a boost on the park. And trying to decide what to do next season, pay at gate or buy another book of potential misery

With Ciftci, Bilate and Dow out, we really are lacking in options up front, and I wonder if Jackie will make some sort of surprise selection in that area. But more likely he'll think Erskine can do a shift on his own up there...........................

I'm not really tlking about the opinions of 'Utd fans' out for a day out on Cup Final day though,or people you may work with who regard themselves as Arabs, but in reality haven't been to a game in donkeys.

I'm talking about the opinion of Utd fans who have invested thousands of their own hard earned wages into the club being ridiculed or dismissed as 'boo boys' etc.

Was having a personal discussion on Twitter with a member of this forum last week about 1 or 2 Utd related subjects and some random arsehole wades in with 'if your not happy...why not go and support the Dee's"

Now not speaking for myself even but the boy i was speaking to has probably spent half his monthly wage on Utd for the past 30 years and some cunts dismissing and belitting his/my view.

I'm no having that shit.

Agreed, first half much better. 2nd half poor though a few flurries apart. What does Jackie do at ht though? Read a bedtime story??? Keep starting 2nd halves badly. Penalty was a yard outside the box. Wonder if Celtic will write to the SFA about that one?
