Utd 2 ICT 0

Scorers were both forwards Smith+Duke.Great to see them keep a clean sheet also.

Looked a very young team put out...

It's always a young team, even when 1st team players are getting game time they still usually qualify for u/20's.

Been odd occasions when likes of Squiddy or Butcher get a game but not very often.

It did indeed.

Oldest player probably 18.

I know Jamie M, the new Stretch, is 19 cos he played for DUSC with one of my grandsons from u/9's.

Chris McLaughlin is also so mature that he's 19 and 26 days.

Re: DUFC U20's Thread

Fantastic result for the youngsters. Hope they can build on it. Would be good to see how good Johnston is...

Can we get a full match report

Re: DUFC U20's Thread

1-0 keeper flogged it. Played not bad though especially Scott Smith and Spark.  Goal chalked off for nothing unsurprisingly.

Re: DUFC U20's Thread

Didnt do much 1st half. Kept making wrong decisions. Better 2nd half. Causing lots of problems. Its 2-0 now btw. Both goals against run of play. Utd nothing up front. Got in good positions but final ball poor. The laddie Robson at left back looks a player btw. Coote is what he is; a 16 year old laddie with ability but a lot to learn.

2-1 now JJ great set up. Montgomery scored rebound (I think).

Re: DUFC U20's Thread

Thon Darren Petrie is a bit of an enigma btw. Physically got the right build and you can see that he's technically decent but he just looks like he can't be arsed. He could really impose himself on a game if he wanted to as well.

He's been signed till seasons end Bowers.

So essentially on trial.

Hope we give him a deal asap.
