Gave up on the league min?
Or still carrying a wee crumb of hope ?

It's the hope that kills us...
The Tims, to their credit *spits* have been on a phenomenal run since the turn of the year and came through cup/league/europa matches pretty much unscathed. They rolled us over at Parkhead, but to be fair to my own team, we've went unbeaten(in the league) against "the rest" for about 20 fixtures(not exact).
So, we're still within 5 points of the rotten bastards though they have one game in hand but they're approaching another mini series of matches over the next couple of weeks and I think they'll drop points here and there. I particularly see your neighbours maybe even beating them at Dens. As long as we carry on as we have been, despite a couple of stuffy draws, a possible match against the Great Unwashed at Pittodrie could make things interesting.
It's all(and generally always has been) ifs buts and maybes, but like i said, it's the hope that kills us and there's still a tiny wee bit of that no matter how many times i've told myself it's over.

think you'll hang onto rooney mate?....scoring that many goals has got to have English clubs interested

I hope so because he's our first proper goalscorer since Duncan Shearer.
He signed a two year extension earlier this season which takes him to summer '18, so we're in a decent position if any bids do materialise. We've a good core of Irish lads at the club and Rooney seems to enjoy life in the north east. I suppose it would depend on the offer/club and whether he fancies another crack at English fitba.
Celtic could do a lot worse(Guidetti) than sign an Adam Rooney. That'd be shite.

I see the Rooney to Celtic rumours have started already.

Still not able to accept it's over.
Celtic will be on a downer after today and I can see Dundee fancying their chances on Wednesday night.
5 more 1-0 wins and it's coming home...
