Dundee United V's Hamilton Accies - Sat 11th April @3pm

Get the feeling this could be Jackie's 'Last Stand'.

Question is will he go on a Brewsteresque Falkirk 'kamikazee mission' and throw in a few young debutants (Coote,Johnson,Zwick) or will he stick behind experience and hope we can grind out a win? My money's on the latter.

Would like to see us play (but don't think we will)..

...................Cierzniak.........
McGowan,Morris,Fojut,Dixon
...........Souttar....Butcher......
..Connolly....Telfer...Erskine....

Re: Dundee United V's Hamilton Accies - Sat 11th April @3pm

It's nigh on impossible to predict what team he'll put out, but he simply has to do something different.

                      ---Rado---
--- McGowan  Fojut  Morris---
                 --- Souttar---
--- Connelly Butcher  Telfer  Dixon---
-----        Ciftci      Bilate

Different, but may give us more impetus in the middle of the park. Dixon moving up one, playing more of a wing back position may also mean we get better service to the forwards.

For me, Telfer, Connelly, and Souttar (in a slightly more advanced position) must play. Cannot believe this hasn't been tried yet!!!

Re: Dundee United V's Hamilton Accies - Sat 11th April @3pm

at tannadice unless against top teams we should play 442 dont get this one up front pish thats crept into most teams last 3 years lets play ciftci n bilate up front as a pair and go at accies from the first min but it will be the usual one up top even against a pub team 1-0 united

Re: Dundee United V's Hamilton Accies - Sat 11th April @3pm

Heard JMac read the riot act at Dens after Wednesday's game, here's hoping for a long awaited response from the players, predict a scrappy game of sorts but would welcome a victory by 2 goals to 1 to get back on track.
C'mon United, finger out the dowp

Re: Dundee United V's Hamilton Accies - Sat 11th April @3pm

I think everyone needed that from the gaffer and the players and the fans. Bonus of a clean sheet as well. Not getting carried away, but hopefully the team can push on from this and give us a few more wins before the season ends.

Re: Dundee United V's Hamilton Accies - Sat 11th April @3pm

Difficult watching that the day but I don't care. It has stopped the rot.

If truth be told, it was dire and Rado had at least 3 fantastic saves. We've saw the good and bad of Rado in a matter of days. When he doesn't have time to think, he's good.

Bilate did ok when he came on and appeared to give the team a wee lift when we changed shape.

Glimpses from Connolly and Telfer. Paton did ok.Tidy finish fae Erskine. Dixon had a fuckin mare.
