Jackie OUT

Been found out bigtime.

Do the honourable thing and walk please.

Shite signings by and large and cannot motivate, organise or inspire the squad he has left.

Very sorry things have got to this stage but that's life.

Re: Jackie OUT

Agreed. One dimensional way of playing (which admittedly looks good when it works) but he doesnt have the players to play it anymore but has made no real attempt to change things unless you count aimless punts in desperation.

I said after the second goal that he's went through about 3 defences worth of players and we are STILL losing headed goals from set-pieces. He is the common denominator I'm afraid.

Not even that bothered about losing to them. What is worrying is we could've been playing St Mirren tonight and still lost. Shocking. Thank you Jackie and Stephen, and goodbye.

Re: Jackie OUT

454k spent on transfer fees this season.

By some distance the 2nd highest amount in Scottish Football and plays NONE of them.

Tells it's own story.

Re: Jackie OUT

We were screaming for Telfer to come on at half-time. Why was he signed by Jackie who then refuses to play him???? I was walking down past Tannadice alongside Scott Fraser after the game. Our midfield should be built around him, Telfer and a new defensive midfielder next season.

Hear their shout, hear their roar
They've probably had a barrel of ale and much, much more

Sad to hear that Seggy has stopped posting.I really like him as a poster and you too G.

But with the greatest of respect i love my club and want the best for it.(not saying anyone else doesn't btw).

We can do better than Jackie, much better infact.IMO

If people disagree with that i'd rather they argue against it constructively than no longer post in the huff.

Re: Jackie OUT

I really liked Jackie, but he appears to have completely lost the plot.  Changes needed.

Re: Jackie OUT

JM is far from blameless but it is the players letting him down, minus 2 last nights team was the one that had a great start to the season. However defeat on Saturday may well be  the end.

Re: Jackie OUT

Last night in the second half it was apparent the players didn't know what the fuck they were meant to be doing IMO there was no shape and you had boys running the same channels, just punts down the field cause they didn't want to try and pass the ball.

I'm usually an optimistic type of chap but even i've had my fill of this now time for a change im afraid.

Re: Jackie OUT

Please please fuck off Jackie.

Another passionless post match interview.

Sounds like he doesn't give a fuck and is accepting of defeat.

Meanwhile the fans are hurting like fuck.

Awful, awful signings and squad building this season.

Go now and let someone else undertake the massive Summer squad rebuild.

Whoever is in charge faces a really tough task with this, hardly anyone out of contract and cant see it being that easy to ship many others out.

Tough season ahead.

Re: Jackie OUT

There's a good few out of contract is there not?

Gardyne
Graham
Rado
Dillon
Butcher
Watson

6 who'll all be on a decent wedge.

Problem is we're left with utter dross like Anier,Bilate,Oyenuga,Szromnik all on long-term contract's.

Have others like Rankin+Paton who are either on the wane or just not good enough.

And a variety of young players who don't look ready for the demands of first team football yet McCallum, Spittal, Muirhead, Spark, Moore etc.

Big big squad rebuild required and I don't trust Jackie to do it.

We need a few rabbits pulled out the hat and some inspiration injected into the fans otherwise I think Season ticket sales could be woeful.

Re: Jackie OUT

The 3 on loan have already been replaced, that only leaves 3 spaces to be filled really.

The rest of what u say is entirely the problem, wheeler dealer required of Del boy proportions.

Re: Jackie OUT

After watching that ive come to the conclusion that Aberdeen are a better team than United.
Realisticly though  Its unlikely JM will walk so can we afford to get rid of the dream team?  Would you walk into unemployment and leave a 2yr contract behind, me neither.

He might walk whilst his cv is still relatively decent.

If he stays till next season and we start poorly his managerial reputation may be damaged irreparably.

Re: Jackie OUT

I reckon his reputation is beyond repair now.

He won't get another job of any stature, so maybe he'll just stay around Tannadice hoping to get lucky again.

Doubt if he'll leave of his own accord, we're stuck with him unless Stephen Thompson feels guilty.

Re: Jackie OUT

If he goes now he will be looking at a job in the championship, St Mirren maybe. I think he will believe he can still turn United around. Despite all the negativity at the moment it will only take two or three key signings to get us winning again, we still have a lot of decent players at Tannadice and still a few very promising teenagers. Never mind its only Celtic next.

Think you are spot on Pat.

He won't chuck it for the reason stated and has fuckall to lose staying and hoping to turn it around.
It's all hope and no belief for him and for my feelings towards him.
Don't normally believe fans  opinions on tactics and picking holes in managers when form is bad.

Maist of us are half pished sitting there typing great ideas and solutions with no fucking clue really about all the factors relevant to picking a team like who's carrying an injury or who has been shite all week in training.

Some posters are just pubescent hormonal wee laddies who play futba manager and think they are shit fuckin hot at it.

But it's got to the point that I recon all off us could achieve at least what he's giving us and the team and that's saying something.

I've never downed any previous manager in 36 years of supporting United at a match or on a forum.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhh
