First home game of the season for the young lads tonight at Tannadice V's the Champions,Celtic.
Let's hope they put up a better showing than their first team counterparts did on Saturday past.
Interesting to see if Szromnik will start in goals. And also to see if the likes of Butcher,Gardyne and Oyenuga will feature at all.

Great second half, when they stopped standing off and pressed them well.

Spooky, we were posting at same time.
Just home, Celtic were good, but we just let them play 1st half and they deserved their 2-0 lead. I was then expecting a similar score to Saturday but we came out and got in their faces a lot better (not in a nasty way ). Some great play after we were regaining possession further up the park, got the two goals deservedly and had them quite rattled at times.
No individual critiques from me because not everyone had their best game.

never a penalty, shocker of a decision.
thought celtic players moved into space a bit quicker and looked the better side in the first half.
a lot more intensity in the second half from utd and it payed off. started pressing much further up the field which closed down the passing options for celtic and led to much more possession for utd.
a wee bit guilty of giving the ball away easily the only team criticism,
individually i thought petrie, fraser, telfer, connoly and spittal played very well. i thought big soutar put in a couple of great tackles to prevent the ball coming across the goal, however, i would like to see him attack the ball more in the air, just seems to let it hit his head.
overall did well against a sharp celtic side and a good second half.

Just wtached the goals on the Zone.
Horrendous penalty decision, the sort you'd only ever see in the 90th minute at Parkhead.
Anyone elsed this the pitch is looking like a jumper swith boolies on it?

No groundsman of the year award at Tannadice this season, and it's not just because of the sprinkler installation.
Poach the groundsman at St Andrews, it's like a bowling green.

Great to see because the 20s have been sadly neglected by the ZONE last year or two.
