Great news regarding Paton, has been consistantly good for us since he came (apart from saturday!!) Can see Aidan getting some game time this season from the bench so looking forward to seeing his progression. No clue about Lochhead but welcome aboard son, another attacking midfielder, we do love em!!

Rodge where you reading about this kid fae Celtic ?
Cannae see anything on Official.

I seen it on SSNHQ#1 or whatever it's called now earlier TEK, release from Celtic, two year deal with us.

Cheers mate.
Good luck to the kid.
Not sure yet another young attacking midfielder is what we need at this time though tbh.
Looking at Saturday i still feel the team lacks natural leaders and a bit of nastiness.

Jamie McQuilken
Mark Millar
Paul Caddis
Joe McGlaughlin (one of the worst ever)
aw various degress of pish.
Mulgrew was decent tbf, just played in a shite side at the time under Brewster.

oooof that makes you shudder TEK
mark mcnally...how fucking bad was he lol
see when people put up lists like that, it makes me laugh/cringe when certain players get called 'the worst ever'
no near it

He's an ex-Celtic youth player who touted himself to us, seeing us as one of the best routes to success. In Oban it was like a laddie against men, which it was, but certainly plenty signs of potential.

McNally was horrendous,as was Joe Mclaughlin.Heard a story that Wee Jim ran into the dressing room once at Tynecastle,(when he was Chairman) after we'd been gubbed and called every player what for.He also apparently said to Mclaughlin he was a lazy wee shite and would never play for Utd again. And he never did.

Like Telfer or Scotty Smith playing in the three.

One for the future then ?A signing for the U-20's ?

Certainly one for the fairly far future and I'll be watching 20s play Sellick tomorrow hoping to see more elderly laddies like son of Paddy.

Tek, I thought Paul Caddis was alright.

It was Brian McLaughlin not Joe. He was a wee left winger.
Our squad is absolutely huge now. I have it on good authority that Stevie Campbell and Dave Bowman have been approached by loads of teams to get some of our u20 players on loan but Jackie won't put anyone out on loan so now we are stuck with enough players to fill two teams and are not far off this in the first team as well. Seems a strange position from Jackie is loads of players are left kicking their heels doing nothing. He is seemingly a bit precious about players, worried about them getting injured and it affecting their value. Bizzare.

He was 'ok' mate.Nothing more, nothing less.
He had a good debut and was steady in the next two or three.
IIRC though he got roasted in a couple of other games, but that said he was playing in a very poor side at the time which couldn't have helped him.
Now get's a regular game at Birmingham so cannae be that bad a player.
