This.
The Guy would be a sound addition. There's a lot more belters than what is touted. At least 40% madmen.

nothing better than a decent debate on the things you love, whether you agree with them or no....nothing more frustrating than going on forums and people who just know are blethering total uneducated pish , have all of a sudden became a voice and you get even bigger fuds clinging on to what they say...as long as i have the power to block them i will...thats unless TEK weilds his axe in my direction

The axe won't fall on anyone,i don't think.
There's been no sign of any bother on here since July last year.Apart from MatTheCat (who i'm pretty sure is one of the guys posting controversially on Mad).
Found out by default on here that you're best to rule with a 'Velvet Glove'.Treat people as adults and in a welcoming nature and you tend to get that back.
I'm not in the least bothered about this place turning into Mad MKII and welcome anyone who wants to post here with a clean slate approach.
Most of the people who post on here all converse via Private Message on here (or on Twitter,Whatsapp or in person).I think that helps keep it a tight-knit forum.

Spot on, theres still debate, even disagreements, on here, but its a bit more civilised at least.

When I meet a United fan for the first time I am always biased, I already thing they are great people.
Maybe that is the only thing we will have in common, and people having opinions and feelings on subjects that I might not agree with, then I will still respect them, as I hope they would respect mine, because at the end of the day we are all grown adults and we should treat each other like adults, in the fact that we can handle someone not agreeing with us.
I come on this board most days when I am not at work, I enjoy the laid back atmosphere, I post frequently, but I mostly enjoy reading what you are saying, be it about United, Music, Movies and who you would or would not do!
I have built up a nice image in my head of what the regular posters are like, from young Roger the Alien to our most senior Leedsy, the brothers Stobes and the gaffer TEK. Too many posters to mention individually as I enjoy it all, because at the end of the day, in my mind you are already great people, and nobody has made me change my mind about that fact on here.
Also, defo need a like button, that's the only thing I would change about here

The demise of Utd Mad, Tekel Towers will hopefully rise.

Think part of the problem with message boards in general is that folk sometimes take it too serious. End of day it's only futba and its only the Internet.

exactly, people have posted threads and comments towards me over the years, some not so nice but you just get on with It, part of the fun, while I believe that the likes of racism and general bullying should not be tolerated, people need to man up a little.

99% agree with you there Hunted.
But when i read things last week about Joe Rice having to phone JMac on a Sunday evening at his home number because there was a rumour going about his Dad had died then you start to realise people can write things online that can have a real effect on peoples private life,no matter how short term.
So whilst i am all for free speech and things like Donkey pics of Brian Graham don't personally bother me at all (though i don't agree with it),there are certain things being written on Forums and on Twitter/Facebook that are completely OTT and potentially pretty hurtful tbh.
