appreciate everything they do but there's a time and place for these things and I wouldn't say a cup final is one.

This is something that could affect, God forbid, my family or your family, this might be affecting other people's families on this board right now. If you were wanting to raise awareness of this, something which isn't sectarian, racist, xenophobic etc, then why not do it on the biggest platform available to get national coverage. I appriciate your opinion, but I'm all for it.

End of the day what's better to highlight this issue infront of say 5,000 people at home to Hamilton with no cameras there or infront of 50,000 people with the nation watching.This issue deserves recognition and for it to gain maximum exposure,then the Cup Final is the ideal time to raise it.
It's a terrible illness that will more than likely affect a fair few of us on here in one shape or form,either personallly or by association.
Putting our hands together for a few seconds on the 3rd minute isn't a big ask.
