Re: Tony McGlennan - Compliance Officer (and former Celtic ST holder)

I don't think we should be screaming fix until we see what happens with Van Dick.

I've read that they cant cite Butcher as well. Not sure why not though.

Part of the problem is that the whole compliance officer thing is done almost ad hoc that no one knows what he can and cannot cite. I'm pretty sure that because he saw the Brown challenge then he can't be cited for it.

A joke position and a joke organisation

I'm mega confused now tbh.

They're just making up the rules as they go along.

Because the ref saw the incident they can't cite?

Honestly they are doing their very best to destroy the game up here,it's sickening.

Re: Tony McGlennan - Compliance Officer (and former Celtic ST holder)

Would understand if any Scottish player (other than Bronski Beat) didn't want to play for the national team with that chunt Baloon as the captain.

Re: Tony McGlennan - Compliance Officer (and former Celtic ST holder)

Celtic releasing a statement greeting like fuck about Butcher not being cited.

Trying to create a shitstorm so the SFA fold and free-up Van Dijk as they've nae defenders left.

Disgusting.

Re: Tony McGlennan - Compliance Officer (and former Celtic ST holder)

Clearly we've got them rattled.  Need to forget the distractions and use that fact to build up confidence in the players.

We can and will win this.

Re: Tony McGlennan - Compliance Officer (and former Celtic ST holder)

Jackie should come out tomorrow and make a statement saying he hopes our players are protected from Captain Cunts thuggery.

Let's put the focus back on them. Maybe just maybe it'll mean that someone will take action v the cunt

What i've heard is that........

Paton was red carded for Butcher's reaction to Van Dick stamping on him, Van Dick for the intial stamp.

They can't cite Butcher for the stamp as that prejudices Paton's appeal, also 2 people can't be charged over 1 crime.

The timeframe for citing players was 3pm Tuesday, so by Paton appealing they couldn't cite Butcher.

They can't transfer the red card, they have to rescind Paton's red first.

Stupid system but it's totally worked in our favour.

Or something like that.

Excellent post, that is the difference between clubs the size of Celtic and clubs the size of ours, they will have a press officer to feed those retarded fuckers what to say seeing as they get around 70 -80% media time leading up to games like Sunday.

I'm  sure people like you and I would do the job for free.

Re: Tony McGlennan - Compliance Officer (and former Celtic ST holder)

A wee bit surprised that McNamara hasn't publicly spoken up for the players/club in the past few days.

Their Manager,Captain and club (via an amateurish statement)have took several pot-shots at our players this week. For no-one at the club to have answered back (apart from McGowan) is a surprise.Does it make us look weak?Or is it stronger to keep silent in the face of provocation?

I fully expect Van Dijk's ban to be overturned later this afternoon (and Ciftci to be banned for 2 games).I wonder if the club will continue to remain silent or if they will have something to say this time.

At the moment, we have class and they don't.

But class doesn't win games.

Better to stay quiet and use what they are saying privately.

Then turn up on Sunday and destroy them, after doing a mock huddle at ko just to anger them even more.
