I still think he looks a better bet at RB tbh.As i say i've seen nothing from him to suggest he deserves a starting jersey in an offensive role.

He probably should have went on loan though.Connolly wasn't anywhere near the first team in his first season at the club.Different players progress at different rates.

I think Spittal will come good but it's abundantly clear he's not the answer to our problems at the moment.

We need players who are comfortable with the ball at their feet and can drive forward with it,as at the moment the ball is treated like a hot potato and players cannae get rid of it quick enough.

jackie constantly bangs on about 'mentality' and 'belief' but i don't see any belief in those players at the moment.

Even guys we know are good players like Dixon and Telfer are struggling.

That was because Stokes and Izaguirre were doubling up on Dillo.

TBH I was disappointed to see players being brought in that put our development players down the pecking order but Connolly and Spittal, for me, satisfy your requirements for ball at feet, driving forward, mentality and belief.
