Need to really change our formation when playing Celtic at parkhead...and the keepers jersey on a shoogly peg
we move on though

As silly as it may sound, is it against the rules or sporting integrity to play two goal keepers and eight defenders with one floating forward?

Formation served us pretty well there last season. No sure eh could fault Rado for more than one goal, perhaps.

Said it to EKarab during the match,i would sacrifice the free flowing sexy ultra modern 4231 for a bit of 'meat and potatoes' defending fae the front. If that means putting the fucking baw in row Z anytime it's anywhere near our box,SO BE IT.
We are far too open against them and get picked aff sooo easy it's embarrassing at this level.
Would help if we could even remotely defend a set piece mind.We could play any formation going but if we can't defend bread n butter baws intae the box,we may aswell no bother turning up.
Pissed aff wi that today and our absolute capitulation there as per.
Wee Jim would have them in tomorrow just running in the pissing rain for 2 hours. And rightfully so.

our record there is fkn shocking yet at ibrox when rangers had fantastic players like laudrup gazza negri etc etc we would go there and win many a time yet even under celtics dark times with players like mark mcnally rudi vata etc they would still beat us

Years ago a rumour was printed in the Final Hurdle that at a PFA awards do pissed up Walter Smith accused Wee Jim and Utd of lying down to Celtic whilst playing out of their skins against der Hun. Wee Jim told him that he was at Utd long enough to know nothing untoward ever went on at the club. Walter apparently had to be ushered away (before Wee Jim lamped him?). I don't believe its deliberate, but we are absolutely shite 9/10 at Parkhead and must have fewer wins there than about 10-15 other teams, whilst having conceded some amount of goals. Its fucking dreadful.

At set pieces/crosses our players looked like fucking hand grenades were being lobbed at them.

Quite often it seemed we had no right back and they had two.men spare on that side. Not acceptable defending.

5 of the goals came fae our right hand side.
It is a position of the park where we are notoriously weak and any good Manager worth his salt will have pointed this out to his players before playing us.

Was reading on Utdmad and tactics relating to pitch size was a discussion which made me wonder.Parkhead looks wide and long on TV but that might be influenced by the high up camera position. According to the Scottish football ground guide only the fun have smaller in both dimensions. Can that be right?
