Booked flight up (Fucked Up) for final, for some reason I've managed to book my flight up, to Edinburgh FFS
Could anybody tell me what train would be best from Waverley to Glasgow then up to Hampden?
Am meeting mates at Hampden so is there any Arab freindly pubs close to the stadium?

Trains are fairly regular from Waverly to Queen Street. Couple an hour even on a Sunday I think. You'll even get to go on thon tram that we paid millions for yet anytime I've been in Embra I've never seen anyone on it tbh.
Then its just a train out to Mount Florida I believe. Never done that though.
As for boozers? Not sure. Pretty sure Tek will have a better idea. Nearest I've drunk to Hampden is the monteford Arms but thats at the wrong end for the final and Idoubt they'll be letting United fans in. There are some at 'our' end but cannae mind what they are called tbh

I think the Montford will let Arabs in.It's kind of smack in the middle between both ends.
Was just about all Arabs in there against Aberdeen,so i was told.

There are 3 different train services from Edinburgh Waverley to Glasgow.
The service that hunted is talking about is the most numerous and the quickest. Goes via Falkirk High to Glasgow Queen Street. You then need to walk from Queen Street station to Glasgow Central to get the Cathcart Circle train to Mount Florida.
There is another service to Glasgow Queen Street Low Level. Goes via Bathgate and Airdrie. Once again you have to walk from Queen Street to Glasgow Central to get the train to Mount Florida.
There is another service which goes to Glasgow Central directly. Goes via West Calder and Shotts and Wishaw. Takes a bit longer, but you don't have to walk between Queen Street and Central Station.

Didn't let me in before the semi a couple of years ago. So I'd imagine it'd be the same. They knocked back Sheep in the semi

Thanks lads for all the info, normally go to Dundee and get on one of the supporters buses through, but trying to it on the cheap this time
Going to have a pint or two in Edinburgh then make my way to Mount Florida and find a boozer up that way
Thanks again
