From the Rangers International Football Club PLC Website:-
("Rangers" or the "Company")
Suspension of trading on AIM
The Company has been informed that its Nominated Adviser ("NOMAD") does not believe that it can satisfy the London Stock Exchange in relation to its NOMAD obligations in respect of the appropriateness of the Company's securities to be admitted to AIM, and therefore the NOMAD has resigned as Nominated Adviser to Rangers with immediate effect. Accordingly Rule 1 of the AIM rules for Companies will apply, and trading in the Company's AIM securities will be suspended with immediate effect. If the Company is not able to restore trading within one month, admission of the Company's securities to AIM will be cancelled.
If requested during the suspension period WH Ireland is willing to assist the Company to implement the necessary changes for WH Ireland or another Nomad to become satisfied as to the Company's appropriateness for AIM. If a Nominated adviser is appointed it may apply to the London Stock Exchange on behalf of the Company for trading to be restored.
The Directors are disappointed that this event has had to take place despite the considerable efforts they have made over the last few weeks and months against the backdrop of the general meeting requisition and wish also to record their appreciation to their outgoing NOMAD for all it has done for the Club.

Well I've never heard of this before. A company's (a supposedly viable company) Financial Advisor resigning because they can't vouch for the appropriateness of the company to trade.
What this means is that the folk who are running Rangers ATM, have to find some daft chunt to take over as Financial Advisor or they're phucked. Game up the poley. Finito. Bon Voyage.
Of course, it's enjoyably ironic that their Nominated Advisor is referred to as NOMAD, because only a mad b@stard would take this on.

"WH Ireland is willing to assist"
That'll go down well.

Surely they are already dead?
Definitely, unfortunately the living dead are a bit harder to shift.
Must be a stake or a silver bullet or something?

I think I'd prefer Ashley hanging about for as long as possible

Ashley and Green get most of their merchandise and sponsorship income anyway thanks to the onerous contracts. King will just be pouring money into the Sevco Triangle. He's got enough for the short-term but not enough for the medium to long-term especially if he is getting nothing back other than gates.

Barring all the off the field comedy that's taking place, I was thinking about the heights they might have to climb 'to get back where they belong'.
Seeming increasingly like they might have to play during the play-offs, maybe Falkirk and/or Queen of the South and the Hibees, and then after that a Premiership team as well. That's an awfy load of wins they need.
But some of you more knowledgable guys might be able to clear this up for me. Is it right that a load of their players are off in the summer (can anybody name names please?), in which case are they available for the play-offs?

There are 12 Rangers first-team players out of contract in thesummer. Captain Lee McCulloch, plus Kris Boyd, Kenny Miller, Jon Daly, Bilel Mohsni, Darren McGregor, Richard Foster, Steven Smith, Sebastien Faure, Ian Black, Kyle Hutton and Steve Simonsen all see their deals run out on June 1, 2015.
Just copied and pasted that

Mike Ashley has called on the Rangers board to hold another EGM to explain why they have been de listed from the AIM stock exchange and he wants them to pay his £5m loan back.
